My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes pianistic sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece.This arrangement was made for a late beginner student currently working on Federation class Elementary 2. It had its challenges but a little perseverance did the trick and pushed my student to get better at jumping around with the left hand. Pedaling is pretty straightforward. As with many of my arrangements, I find that making the left hand a bit of a time-keeper is always helpful, especially with pop vocal rhythms.
