Brass Ensemble Horn - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.873893 By The Beach Boys. By Brian Wilson and Mike Love. Arranged by Petey C. Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 13 pages. Petey C. #6252129. Published by Petey C. (A0.873893). First of all, if you're considering purchasing this quartet, check out the store on my website https://peteyc.com/store to see what I have there. My arrangements there are cheaper and most of the revenue will go to the arranger (me) instead of sheet music plus.I love The Beach Boys. As a teenager, I was definitely exposed to a fair amount of their music for some reason. It's not always easy to transform this kind of music into an idiom that sounds good as instrumental chamber music, however, this is part of my quest to develop a broad range of popular music that I can play live with a small group on the instrument I love - the horn.This is great for university students and professionals. There are not a lot of great, challenging horn quartet arrangements out there, like this one is. Depending on which part you play, this one may require a solid high range and/or low one (although some alternate notes are suggested for those who wish to avoid the extremes). This arrangement helps fill a niche for small ensemble in that horn quartet music typically lacks repertoire in most contemporary and rock genres. I've tried to have the melody move around a bit so it's fun and interesting for everyone. Score, parts and cover arts included. I hope someone out there tries this arrangement and has fun!

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1074008 By Arkady Leytush. By Erik Satie. Arranged by Arkady Leytush. 20th Century. Score and parts. 23 pages. Arkady Leytush #678276. Published by Arkady Leytush (A0.1074008). E. Satie – Heures Séculaires et Instantanées, 1914, Orchestra suite 1. Obstacles venimeux 2. Crepuscule matinal 3. Affolments granitiques Duration about 4 minutes. Heures Séculaires et Instantanées (Hallowed by Time and Instant Hours), one of his humorous keyboard suites from the 1910s, contains Satie's famous warning to pianists against reading aloud the fanciful texts that adorned his score. Sati warns against reading aloud the texts written on his scores. This is the secret between the performer and the composer. “There are as many words as there are notes!†says the French composer-critic Guy Sacré. Biographer Rollo H. Myers saw Heures as an omen of surrealism (ten years before the fact) and a new phase in the relationship between text and music. “... For the first time, individual verbal witticisms and witticisms are replaced by something like a recitation or monologue, which is an integral part of the work: this is no longer a cursory comment, arbitrarily superimposed and often not related to the music that it accompanies, but a certain narrative, grotesque inspiration, which the music serves as an illustration. In addition to what has been said, I would like to add that being one of the first minimalists in modern music, Sati opens a new page in the combination of musical images and examples of abstract vision and imagination inspired by music with his illustrative texts in this humorous suite. This approach to composition soon led to the emergence of striking examples of the combination of music and animation. This short suite, full of humor and ingenuity, moved me when arranging to also emphasize this feature by choosing the full composition of the orchestra, where in each number of this suite the musicians of the orchestra play only a few notes in turn. On the one hand, this should bring great variety and contrast, on the other hand, a huge orchestra and a 4-minute suite in themselves cause a smile of inconsistency...

String Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: A0.1022594 Composed by Craig Michael Davis. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 11 pages. Jack Harrison Inc. #50957. Published by Jack Harrison Inc. (A0.1022594). 'Re-Creation' Program Notes What is time, and where did it come from? These two questions consumed my thought process while writing Re-Creation. Upon completing the piece, I was no closer to answering those questions, but what I could answer became clear: could I write a piece in which time ceases to exist? In order to do this, I decided early on to throw out conventional notation that tends to restrict most performers. As my thought process evolved, I began contemplating the idea of juxtaposing the continuum of timelessness against the traditional view of time. Not only did this free me from the confines of a specific time, it opened up the entire spectrum of time, creating the possibility of infinity and the eternal existence of the continuity of time that invariably existed from the earliest sketches of this piece. The early sketches of this piece were written in my coastal Californian studio during the summer months of 2014, and because of this, Re-Creation represents not only a freedom of time, but also a sound world unique to California’s breathtaking coast. However, the impetus for this piece was the opening chapters of the book of Genesis, portraying the creation of the world in seven days. In this respect, the usage of three and seven play and important roll in the overall structure of this piece. Re-Creation was also inspired by a vacation I had taken a year before where I drove up the coast, stopping in small towns periodically, to collect poems from local authors. One collection of poems from Jeanie Greensfelder entitled, Biting the Apple, caught my attention. Reading through the poems, I began to realize that each poem was unique in that it marked a special time and place in the authors life, ultimately providing the reader with an autobiographical time capsule. The arch of the author’s life was thus on display for the world to read inevitably transforming her life, rather than her work, into the work of art. My hope for The Creation is that it portrays a snapshot of the Californian coast in which it was written, so that it can have a life of it’s own, free from the confines of it’s author and any concert hall it is performed in.

Easy Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.892451 By Lady Gaga. By Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, Mark Ronson, and Stefani Germanotta. Arranged by Francesco Mannino. Pop. Score. 4 pages. Francesco Mannino #4338013. Published by Francesco Mannino (A0.892451). This is an arrangement of Lady Gaga - Shallow Piano Solo Arrangement (From A Star is Born). It features many different types of chords that are meant for the late intermediate to advanced player. The arrangement is based on the original song by Lady Gaga, but features many changes that I thought would make a great sounding and beautiful piano solo arrangement of Shallow. l also wanted to add a rhythmic element to the arrangement, which you will see during some of the parts of the arrangement. The arrangement is in E minor. The arrangement took me about 2 days to create. I was inspired by Lady Gaga's performance with Bradley Cooper at the Oscar's. When making the arrangement, I listened to their performance many times as well as their official recorded version of the song. I have also touched up some of the chords to make a better sounding piano solo arrangement.Shallow was featured in A Star is Born, where Lady Gaga performs along with Bradley Cooper in a loving rendition of the song.Lady Gaga - Shallow Piano Solo Arrangement (From A Star is Born) is meant for the high intermediate to advanced players looking to play some of the popular music of today (Mar 2019). This is the latest hit on radios and TV having been featured at the Oscars. The song will take a bit of practice. If you are having a hard time with the arrangement, you can omit some of the bottom notes of the right hand. These notes will not effect the melody, but are just there to add some color. The arrangement of Lady Gaga Shallow for piano solo is 4.5 pages long, and should take about 3 minutes and 40 seconds to fully perform. You can remove some of the bottom notes in the right hand if you wish to make the arrangement easier.
