Although it is a melody with a simple structure, it is especially loved by children due to its interesting progression. I quoted this beautiful melody and arranged it into a small violin concerto format.

It was originally written for violin and organ, also available on Sheet Music Press. The chorale melody was used by Bach in his St Matthew Passion, and is also in many hymn books as O Sacred Head Sore Wounded. For advanced performers, it is suitable as Prelude music throughout Lent, perhaps especially at a Tenebrae service. It could also be programmed as part of a recital. It is over 5 minutes in length. For Soprano, Flute, Cello and Piano --Composed in 2014 --Poem by Delmira Augustini Amor is a poem by Delmira Agustini, considered to be the most important female Latin American poet of the early 20th century. She was born in Uruguay and was the daughter of Italian immigrants. She was murdered by her ex-husband at the age of 27. The poem is in three stanzas and the music follows the form. The instrumental refrain opens the piece, ends the piece, and is performed between stanzas. The instruments play overlapping patterns of different durations that hover around a major 2nd interval of F and E-flat, and simple chords created by these two pitches. The verses have a rhythmically interlocking pattern between the left hand piano part and the flute. Meanwhile the cello plays a strict serial part of 5 notes and 7 duration, which cause a change in harmony against the piano and flute. The vocal melody fills in the resulting random harmonies, sometimes anticipating the chord change that results from the cello line. The effect is a dreamy kind of randomness, that evokes that mystical period between awake and dreaming. The right hand part of the piano during the verses, the knocking of the wood of the piano, came to me as an alternative to adding more notes during this section, which I preferred keeping stark, to help bring out the different melodies and resulting harmonies. This is the first time I have composed in Spanish, my adopted language which I love.

This is an original composition by me, utilising Schubert's fragment and themes from the fragment Written for wind octet:2 ob, 2 cl, 2 hn and 2 bsn. Composed in 1813, and publised in 1889, Schubert's wind octet D72 is incomplete. The minuet and trio, and finale exist, along with a fragment of 100 bars of the first movement. The 2nd slow movement (if there was one) is missing. The fragment seems to show the end of the development, flowing into the recapitulation. I have now completed the movment, with the expostion starting in F, and 2nd theme moduating into the Dominant C major. An optional repeat has been added, the 2nd time bar has a diminshed 7th chord I have created a new deveopment section in D minor, using themes from the fragment , which then leads into the start of the fragment., which leads to the recapitualtion. This has both themes in F and brings the movement to an end The new movement is 232 bars long. Other mvts are available for quintet, octet and dectet/decet. The mp3 is the 2nd theme of the exposition. leading into the development section. I have made some light tweaks to Schubert's original work. It lasts 5 mins 2 seconds without my repeat.
