Spiccato bowings and playing in a subdivided four will bring new information to the developing string player. The rhythmic independence required in the short fugue section will provide another challenge. A Violin 3 part is included to bolster the Viola section.  The piano part will offer the director an opportunity to add a player for this work.  It is part of the work and not the usual for rehearsal purposes only.
