Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: AX.00-PC-0014585_WPTN1TC (wp) 1st B-flat Trombone T.C.. Composed by Thomas Kahelin. Instructional. World Part. 2 pages. Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music #00-PC-0014585_wpTN1TC. Published by Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music (AX.00-PC-0014585_WPTN1TC). UPC: 038081382630.The winds in foothill communities throughout southern California are often unpredictable and sometimes quite fierce. They can come and go in an instant or blow relentlessly all day. Bluster seeks to musically portray these wild winds in this colorful and energetic work. In addition to the rain stick, palm fronds may be shaken in the percussion section to give a visual depiction of the wind. The minor harmonies create some neat sounds students would not usually encounter until a higher grade level. There is a great variety of articulation and dynamics that captures the energy of fierce winds perfectly - The InstrumentalistConcert/Contest.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.914175 Composed by R. Nathaniel Dett, Robert Nathaniel Dett. Arranged by Music for a While. 20th Century,Romantic Period. Score. 6 pages. Music for a While #6411603. Published by Music for a While (A0.914175). Dance (Juba) is the fifth piece from Dett’s piano suite In the Bottoms (1913) and was one of his most well known pieces. The work was performed and recorded by Percy Grainger, a fact that was used as marketing on the cover of the 1918 publication by Clayton F. Summy Co., Chicago. About the work, Dett wrote:Juba is a social group-dance that involves stamping on the ground with the foot and following it with two staccato pats of the hands in two-four time. At least one-third of the dancers keep time in this way, while the others dance. Sometimes all will combine together in order to urge on a solo dancer to more frantic (and at the same time more fantastic) endeavours. The band usually consists of a single fiddler perched high on a box or table; who, forgetful of self in the rather hilarious excitement of the hour, does the impossible in the way of double stopping and bowing. A word of warning in regard to the tempo. Do not take it too fast! Much of the dancing in the river bottoms is done with a grace and finish that a Presto tempo never could suggest.R. Nathaniel Dett

Christian,Instructional,Praise and Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. Artist of Note, Inc. #997260. Published by Artist of Note, Inc. (A0.1416228). How Great Thou Art MEDIUM EASY PIANOStuart K. Hine served as a British Methodist missionary for a time in Ukraine. In 1931 he heard the Russian translation of a German song inspired by Carl Boberg's poem O Store Gud (O Great God). Hine translated the song to English and added verses. The central theme appears in the third verse: And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in. Mr. Hine and his family left Ukraine as famine and World War Two began, settling in Somerset, Britain, where he continued to serve in missionary efforts. And, although several competing translations appeared through the years, this version of the lyric was published in 1949 and quickly spread in popularity. It was first widely used, though after further introduction by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Team in its London Crusade of 1954, as well as in subsequent American meetings.Colossians 1:16Psalm 90:2Psalm 105:2Expressed simply and clearly for beginning pianists, with fingering suggestions for both teacher and player, itâ??s a perfect choice for prelude, brief offertory, recital or other occasions and itâ??s perfect for each of the stanzas from most hymnals.Soâ?¦check out other versions of How Great Thou Art, including EASY PIANO from Studio B ProductionsThanks, as always to the good folks at ArrangeMe.com, a division of Hal Leonard!
