As a composer she wrote a large number of chamber, vocal and orchestral works and enjoyed much success during her lifetime. She became a professor of music theory at the New Vienna Conservatory in 1918 and much of her music was published by Universal Edition and Musikhaus Doblinger. Zwei Frauenchöre mit orchester op. 10 sets a text by Friedrich Hebbel (1813-1863) and a German translation of a poem by the Danish writer Jens Peter Jacobsen (1847-1885). The work was first published by Universal Edition in 1915.
