It was published posthumously in 1615 and shows a great transition from the Renaissance to Baroque style.This advanced arrangement is for a choir of 22 trombones, with alternate trumpet and French horn parts forthe top voices.

Consequently, much of his music is not of a very demanding nature, but still well composed and well suited to the instruments for which it was written.From about 1798 until his death in 1815 he was quite successful as a composer in Vienna, and  he composed and published about 150 works, mainly chamber music for different combinations and much vocal music with guitar accompaniment.
