Jazz Combo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1095185 Composed by Hanley. Arranged by Robert V. Parisi. Jazz. Score and parts. 43 pages. Robert V. Parisi #699222. Published by Robert V. Parisi (A0.1095185). Back Home Again In Indiana has been a staple of Dixieland musicians since 1917, when the Original Dixieland Jazz Band recorded it on Columbia Records. Louis Armstrong and his All Stars also recorded it, and opened their public performances with their version of this popular selection. The arrangement, found here, captures the flavor of those early improvised Jazz performances. The Tenor Sax part can be played by the clarinetist for a more authentic New Orleans sound. The Tenor Sax part is included to accommodate party bands whose saxophonist does not double on clarinet. The second Trumpet part is optional. Have Fun!

The Moldau , Czech Vltava, symphonic poem by Bohemian composer Bedřich Smetana that evokes the flow of the Vltava River-or, in German, the Moldau-from its source in the mountains of the Bohemian Forest, through the Czech countryside, to the city of Prague. A devoutly patriotic work, The Moldau captures in music Smetana’s love of his homeland. Completed in 1874 and first performed the following year, the piece constitutes the second movement of a six-movement suite, Má vlast (My Country), which premiered in its entirety in Prague on November 5, 1882.
