Choral Choir (4-Part) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028798 Composed by William A Pollard. Arranged by William A Pollard. Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 48 pages. William A Pollard #4852299. Published by William A Pollard (A0.1028798). Where are you now? Is an Anthem for choir, organ and Orchestra. It tells the story of a woman who has lost her way, lost her faith and lost all hope of happiness. She asks Where are you now?, hoping for some inspiration to lift her out of the dark depths of loneliness. She hears a voice. The voice answers I am here. As the piece progresses the woman regains hope and, in turn, regains her faith. This lifts here out of the darkness and she accepts that there is a way to find happiness once again. This Anthem can be performed in any combination of choir/organ or choir/orchestra or all three. With a duration of approximately 3’ 50 the music executes rich harmonies, with a drum beat that adds the hint of a pop rhythm. The score will be a valuable asset to any choir, and is easy reading for performers with wide ranging experience.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.553724 Composed by Charles Hubert Hastings Parry. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Holiday,Wedding. 9 pages. RayThompsonMusic #3578175. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553724). Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, 1st Baronet (27 February 1848 – 7 October 1918) was an English composer, teacher and historian of music.Parry's first major works appeared in 1880. As a composer he is best known for the choral song Jerusalem, his 1902 setting for the coronation anthem I was glad, the choral and orchestral ode Blest Pair of Sirens, and the hymn tune Repton, which sets the words Dear Lord and Father of Mankind. His orchestral works include five symphonies and a set of Symphonic Variations. The following is taken from All Music....Helen, Countess of Rador was the wife of the Fifth Earl of Longford Castle, Salisbury and was a close personal friend of Hubert Parry. She was unique in many ways, but perhaps the most intriguing aspect of her personality was her insistence upon doing things not normally viewed as acceptable ways for a proper Victorian Lady to entertain herself. One of these activities was commissioning works for a seventy-two piece chamber orchestra which she then conducted in a public performance in London. The Lady Radnor Suite is one such work, and Lady Radnor and her chamber orchestra gave the first performance June 29, 1894 at St. James Hall. Parry patterned the work on the early classical orchestral suite of dance movements, and the six movements all demonstrate the influence of antiquity. Each traditional dance style is preserved with great care, while Parry's own particularly English harmonic language marks them as more contemporary. This move is arranged for wind quintet.I have also arrangements of another suite by Parry on this site: The English Suite

Piano,Voice Duet Piano,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1262356 Composed by John W. Fisher. Christian,Contemporary,Instructional,Jewish,Spiritual. 8 pages. John Fisher #855396. Published by John Fisher (A0.1262356). I am creating a new genre of sacred music - THE SERMON SONG. Last summer, 2022, I published Sing to the Lord which I gave to my choir director, Rev. Roger Peterson, who preached on the text of the music, and he was so impressed he had us sing it to First Presbyterian Church the next Sunday. Moses and Miriam was based on Numbers 12: 1-16 in a sermon preached by our Fort Myers Florida senior pastor Dr. Paul de Jong on June 4, 2023. It is a ballad for one or two voices with piano, or organ or guitar accompaniment. Its six verses tell the tale of what happened to Miriam, Moses' sister when she put up a great fuss when her famous brother married a black woman. It is a lesson from Bible times, that racism is unacceptable. As of July 11, 2023, three more SERMON SONGS are in the pipe line for Sheet Music Plus, Pray for the Church,  Barnabus, and Moses Slipped up.

Small Ensemble Vibraphone,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.935378 Composed by Dan Heslink. Christian,Jazz,Jewish,Sacred. Score and parts. 5 pages. Pharaoh Publications #4887161. Published by Pharaoh Publications (A0.935378). Psalm 111                                                                    composed by Dan Heslink This work is an original composition for narrator and solo vibes. The narration, which should be delivered with a manner of intense reverence, is interpreted simultaneously by the vibe’s music. It is hoped that this work will assist vibists who wish to play sacred music.  Psalm 111 would serve equally well in recital or in a church service. Any position in the service would be appropriate, especially as special music or as an offertory. Written for four mallets, the vibe part is accessible for a player with intermediate level experience. Pedaling on the vibes is for the most part by the dotted quarter note beat, and is not notated in most places. Pedal indications occur when this pattern is varied. Half-pedal should be applied wherever needed for clarification of the line. The composer recommends medium hard mallets and no use of the motor for vibrato.  111 is one of the hallelujah psalms that portrays reverence for God. The narration is appropriately delivered by either masculine of feminine voice; the translation is from the Life Application Bible, New International Version. It is possible for the vibist to also deliver the narration, but a separate narrator is preferable. The music is notated in one part, with narration text place above the vibe notation. Pairing of voice and instrument is general, not requiring coordination greater than one beat resolution. Considerable flexibility in tempo is acceptable, even appropriate.  Duration is 5:30. The composer, Dan Heslink, can be contacted at dan@dheslink.com.

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1292341 By Lukas C Jaeger. By Lukas C Jaeger. 21st Century,Contemporary,New Age. 22 pages. Lukas C Jaeger #882681. Published by Lukas C Jaeger (A0.1292341). As a creator, something I value above all else is the ability to do so with others. There’s a beauty found where minds meet that no one person can achieve alone.     So, in search of that beauty, before I even started to work on this piece, I met with the students of Waukesha North High School at the end of their 2023 school year. And we talked. We talked about how life was going. The good and bad. The ups and downs. Things lost. Things found… They shared some laughs and even some tears… The conversations we had were unexpectedly poignant and stuck with me throughout the writing process.     School is a time of great change in our lives and often we are so focused on “getting through†that we don’t really stop to appreciate it until later. This piece celebrates that part of the process. The way we build onto ourselves- acknowledging and accepting that our experiences we have during this time, both good and bad, are crucial to our identity and our ability to move forward in life. They are the cornerstones of who we are and who we become… Inspired by these experiences we shared, I wrote this text. It’s about building a house. The “house†being our self.

French Horn Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.931342 Composed by Isaac Shieh. Concert,Contemporary. Individual part. 6 pages. Music Macri Editions #6885733. Published by Music Macri Editions (A0.931342). Lullaby for Ryan was written between 2020-2022 in memory of my friend Ryan Cooke who was killed in 2016 after a tragic accident. I wrote the piece after I felt his presence when I was having the last seizure in a cluster of seizures that left me with a permanent disability. Composing this piece had been my was of processing the pain I had been carrying for all those years following his tragic death, and this is my way of grieving, processing, accepting, and ultimately sharing my memories of him and to remember him since that fateful day in 2016.

Trumpet Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.775966 Composed by Carson Cooman. Contemporary,Standards. Individual part. 3 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #2034727. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.775966). Newton Antiphonies (2008) for two or more trumpets was composed for the First Unitarian Society in Newton, Massachusetts on the occasion of its 160th anniversary in November 2008. The score of the work consists of seven cells, each with a different tempo. It is important that the distinct tempo and character of each cell be observed. Other than starting points (as described below), no rhythmic coordination between the performers should be attempted in any way. A performance should begin with the first trumpet playing cell #1. When he reaches the point in the cell marked with an asterisk (*), the second player begins playing cell #1. Once the first player has finished cell #1, after a brief pause, he may choose any one of the other six cells to play next. When the second player has reached the point in cell #1 marked by the asterisk, the third player begins cell #1, continuing after a pause to whichever cell he has chosen next. This thus continues in this same manner for each trumpet. Ideally, the piece will last between 2 and 5 minutes, although if there are an exceptionally large number of trumpets used, it may be longer. Each player thus always begins with cell #1 and after finishing it, plays the remaining cells in any order he chooses, not repeating any and pausing briefly between each one. Once finished with playing all seven, the player stops. When only one player (the last player) is left playing his final cell (and ideally at the point marked with the asterisk in whichever cell he is playing), the first trumpet should begin playing cell #7 again. Thus, the first player will always end the piece alone with cell #7, which is the only repetition of a cell that occurs in the context of performance. The composer recommends between 4 and 6 trumpets for an ideal performance, however any number (two or more) is acceptable. It is also strongly requested that the trumpets surround the audience antiphonally. The work may be performed on any matched trumpets (i.e., do not mix C and Bb instruments).

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1415908 Composed by Carter Datz. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Thriller. 11 pages. Carter Datz #997602. Published by Carter Datz (A0.1415908). The Door weaves a story of someone who feels stuck - they'd like to make a change in their life but it's easier to stay inside their comfort zone, far away from the fear monster that guards the door. Eventually they decide to stand and go through the door, but they find themselves unable to vanquish the fear monster. They realize that the only way through is by accepting their fear! The moral of the story is that true courage isn't the absence of fear - it's being scared out of your mind and making the tough decision anyway. I wrote this piece in collaboration with the Wentzville Liberty Chamber Choir - the students came up with the idea for the piece and contributed lyric and musical ideas. They wanted a roller coaster of a piece, and I did my best to deliver.
