This original composition depicts an epic tale with sweeping lines, especially in the horn parts. – A Dragon’s Realm – The Lost World will be part of a suite that also includes another composition of mine called – A Dragon’s Heart. There is also a version for Orchestra.

This is the first movement of A Dragon's Suite for Concert Band. Movement 2: A Dragon's Lament and Movement 3: A Dragon's Heart are also available for Orchestra - See Related Scores.

This Medley includes:

1. The Dying Stockman (3/4 Waltz Tempo): Wrap me up with my stockwhip and blanket And bury me deep down below. Where the dingoes and crows can't molest me In the shade where the Coolibahs grow.

2. Jim Jones of Botany Bay (6/8 Adagio in 6) is a traditional Australian folk ballad. The narrator, Jim Jones, is arrested, tried, and sentenced to transportation. En route, his ship is attacked by pirates, but the crew holds them off. Arriving in Australia, Jones vows to escape, join the bushrangers, and get revenge.

3. The Drovers Dream (6/8 Brightly in 2)
One night when traveling sheep, my companions lay asleep There was not a star illuminate the sky. I was dreaming I suppose, for my eyes were partly closed. When a very strange procession passed me by. First there came a kangaroo with a swag of blankets blue. And the dingo ran beside him as his mate. They were traveling mighty fast but they shouted as they passed. We'll have to jog along, it's getting late.

This arrangement is for String Orchestra with plenty of interest for all sections. There are also Optional Percussion parts - Timpani, Drum Set, Glockenspiel, and Xylophone.  There is a Violin 3 part which is a substitute for the Viola Part.

A useful arrangement for String Group and an Optional Piano [Eb] with Descant Violin. The original tune (MACCABAEUS) was composed by George Fredrick Handel in 1747 and is especially appropriate for Easter. The Descant Violin part is played in the 2nd verse in the recording. This piece of music is dedicated to the memory of Vic Sykes (1929-2018) - who was Principal Horn player for my local orchestra - The Frankston Symphony Orchestra - for over 50 years!

It is an arrangement of the hymn tune St. Clement - The Day Thou Gavest Lord Is Ended - or Evening Hymn. It features, of course, the French Horn - a Horn Quartet in fact, with orchestral accompaniment. Very appropriate for ANZAC day or Remembrance Day...

St Clement, in 98. 98. meter is a popular British tune to John Ellerton's hymn The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, is Ended. The tune is generally credited to the Rev. Clement Cotterill Scholefield (1839–1904). It first appeared in Sir Arthur Sullivan's Church Hymns with Tunes (1874). Scholefield was born at Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was the youngest son of William Scholefield, MP for Birmingham. [Wikipedia]

This is a Concert Band arrangement of the tune ICH GLAUB AN GOTT (To Jesus Christ Our Sovereign King) by Mainz Gesangbuch (1870) featuring an introduction by three trumpets. Originally written for two trumpets and organ. Each part could be played by more than one player placed in front of the band and one on either side. 

A bright opening to a Christmas concert.

There is also an Optional Organ Part - not on the score.

Many other versions are available including a Clarinet and Brass Quartet, Brass Band, and Orchestra.

The Neighbours theme song is the theme tune to the Australian soap opera Neighbours. It was composed by Tony Hatch and written by his then-wife, Jackie Trent. The song was originally recorded by Barry Crocker, who also recorded the updated version, subsequent versions have been recorded by a variety of artists.

This arrangement of the original theme is for the Concert Band with an Optional Piano Part. There are parts for Horns in Eb and F, Euphonium TC and BC.
