This gospel song was influenced by the 1924 The Prisoner's Song and has enjoyed great popularity among many denominations. Sections A and C are the verse. Sections B and D are the chorus. A modulation to a new key occurs between section B and C with the help of an Italian augmented sixth chord. A descant by yours truly is then added.
