Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1147241 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mark R. Fotheringham. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 2 pages. Kevin G. Pace #747434. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1147241). A reverent, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mark R. Fotheringham. Text: Softly The Spirit entered in, Silently speaking to my heart. Awaiting an answer to my simple prayer, The Spirit whispered. Truth and Light were there. Amen.   Pain and distress were mine to bear. Seeking for strength, I cried to God. Despite all my weakness, the Comforter came. He eased my burden. Still I'll bless His name. Amen.   Through paths of peril once I trod, Innocent of the danger there. Then pricked by The Spirit, He showed me the way, To peace and refuge. Never shall I stray. Amen.   Lonely and languishing from loss, Doubting if I could know God's love, I emptied my soul to ask if I was known. The Spirit answered, You are not alone. Amen.   The Spirit testifies of God And of His One Begotten Son. To guide all His children to walk in His ways, The Spirit whispers, Kneel in thanks and praise. Amen.

Bass Guitar,Drums,Piano,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.1072351 Composed by George Wells. Christian,Gospel,Praise & Worship. Accompaniment. Duration 235. F T H Music #552481. Published by F T H Music (A0.1072351). In 2009, my wife was sitting in the doctors office waiting to hear the results of my scan. It was a nice September day, the sun was shinning. The doctor came in shared those awful three words with us: You have cancer My mind went back about 25 years ago to a song I had written entitled: The higher the Mountain the better the view. The lines kept running through my mind. And my view was getting better all the time as by 2014 I had two cancers plus a return of the first cancer. Because of my troubles and the fact that God had lead me through the Valley of Cancer, I asked my friend, Randy Duck to record the song. We used the famous quartet, The Singing Ambassadors to do the back up vocals. Realizing that everyone has a mountain, it is our prayer that encouragement and hope be found in this message.

Cello,Instrumental Duet,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.526297 Composed by Kurt Farquhar. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop. 3 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #6423867. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526297). The King Of Queens is a much-beloved sitcom that aired from 1998-2007, following the adventures of a working-class couple living in Queens, NYC. Its fun and catchy theme song is really a love song from a husband to his wife, with lyrics like All I want to do...is drive right home to you, which is probably why I got asked to arrange this song for a wedding! It's a pretty specific request, but now if your client wants this song too you'll be all set! This arrangement for violin and cello includes a repeat and short extension at the end that makes the song about 1:15 in length instead of 30 seconds, so it can function as a vampable processional song or stand on its own. Rated advanced-intermediate for some tricky syncopated rhythms, but there's nothing too crazy here; both parts remain in first position throughout. This will be learnable for students and sightreadable for professionals. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. SSAATTBB choir (choir divisi) unaccompanied - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.1.3506-E Composed by Carol Barnett. 21 pages. Duration 4 minutes, 30 seconds. Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital #1.3506-E. Published by Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital (MQ.1.3506-E). English, Latin. The composer writes: When asked to write a work for The Rose Ensemble's 20th Anniversary Season, I looked for a text that would resonate with this special occasion, perhaps something to help 'crown' the May Day celebration. But I kept coming back to music: 'Music, gift of the highest God,' music with the power to 'untune the sky,' music that refreshes and gives us strength, 'affording solace to all.' The music begins mysteriously with the John Dryden text split among the voices and ending with Alleluias. A sort of scherzo section follows, concluding with a declamation, The dead shall live, the living die, and music shall untune the sky. Then follows the setting of the Latin text of the title. The music is challenging, the textures interesting and varied. Duration: 4:30.

Timothy Stapay #997124. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1415388). Here is a timeless country classic arranged for piano solo.  A song the whole family will love to sing.Little Green Apples is a classic country song that was recorded by Glen Campbell in 1968.  It was written by Bobby Russell and became a major hit, reaching the top 40 charts in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The song’s popularity has endured over the years, and it remains a beloved classic in the country music genre. Bobby Gentry sang this song in a wonderful duet with Glenn on his T.V. show.[Verse 1]Well, I wake up in the mornin' with my hair down in my eyesAnd she says, HiAnd I hurry to the breakfast table while the kids are goin' off to school, GoodbyeAnd she reaches out and takes my handAnd squeezes it and says, How you feelin', Hon?And I look across at smilin' lips that warms my heartAnd I see my mornin' sun[Pre-Chorus]And if that's not lovin' meThen all I've got to say[Chorus]God didn't make the little green applesAnd it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertimeThere's no such thing as Dr. SuessDisneyland and Mother Goose, no nursery rhymeGod didn't make the little green applesAnd it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertimeAnd when my self is feelin' lowI think about your face aglow and ease my mind[Verse 2]Sometimes I call him up knowin' he's busyAnd ask if he could get away and meet meMaybe grab a bite to eatAnd he drops what he's doin' and hurries down to meet meAnd I'm always lateHe sits waitin' patiently and smiles when he first sees me'Cause he's made that way [Pre-Chorus]And if that's not lovin' meThen all I've got to say[Chorus]God didn't make the little green applesAnd it don't snow in Indianapolis when the winter comeThere's no such thing as make-believePuppy dogs and autumn leaves, no BB gunGod didn't make the little green applesAnd it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertimeAnd when my self is feelin' lowI think about your face aglow and ease my mind

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.821259 Composed by Judith L. Maggs. 20th Century,Instructional. Score. 25 pages. Maggs #5888039. Published by Maggs (A0.821259). The collection is a continuation of a concept I came up with several years ago in an attempt to get my piano students to think rather than just play mindlessly. The pieces are all at an intermediate level - mostly quite easy technically. The challenge is in doing some unexpected things. Some are just for fun, but others cover some very useful skills that they don’t normally get to attempt at an intermediate level. In this collection, I have 8 pieces. Two’s Company uses only 2 fingers on each hand. Bar None has a regular beat, but no time signature or bar lines. What’s My Ledger Line uses only one staff, but depends on ledger lines to cover the missing staff. Fancy Footwork uses all 3 pedals.Times Two alternates 3/4 and 6/8 measures. I ‘C’ You is written in alto clef. Multi-Tasking adds rhythms (tapping, clapping, etc.). And It’s All Over takes an easy tune and jumps all over the keyboard with it.

Do you have a pep band or rock band with horns, rhythm section, and vocals? Radar Love will work for you! My 2nd Jazz Ensemble becomes a rock band to play at basketball games. We want to fit a lot of tunes in the time we have so I trim the forms of my charts. The second verse of this one can be included by adding some repeats and telling your guitar player to learn the other answer phrases. The original is in a guitar key so I pitched it up a half-step to be more accessible to my wind players. It does put the cool trumpet line up a bit higher. Your top kids can reach it! I included the lyrics on this one.Email tom.ruggieri@boardmanschools.org for more info.

Published by Michael Matlock (A0.1014249). The World Is Too Big is a song cycle initially written for a performance at Earth Day 2017 by the TangleTown Trio. The song cycle has four tunes. Mother Earth, the first, is a humorous attempt to answer the question of what our relationship is with nature. Next is What Do You See When You See The Mountains? which asks us to look beyond the thing we’re looking at and see what it really means. This is followed by Behold The Mighty River, an Ogden Nash-y poem that says the opposite. Finally, the cycle ends with If I Had Just One Complaint, a total rip-off of a Stephen Sondheim tune I’m sure. Range is not specified, but this was origianlly performed by mezzo-soprano.

Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: A0.757442 Composed by James Michael bicigo. Contemporary,World. Score and parts. 52 pages. Polar Publications #3012023. Published by Polar Publications (A0.757442). This work was commissioned by Ron Inyoue for the Arctic Winer Games in Fairbanks, Alaska 2014. When Ron Inouye first discussed a fanfare for the Arctic Winter Games to be held in Fairbanks in 2014, he asked me to somehow represent the peoples of the north and to include something of native drumming, particularly, Inuit drumming. Since the fanfare is for the games, it needs to be able to be used in its entirity or in parts depending on how much time or the purpose of the fanfare in a given situation. This fanfare is therefore composed with three distinct sections that can be used separately or together depending on the circumstance. The Opening four measures of the brass is reminiscent of much of my music representing the Aurora Borealis. The Drumming is inspired by Inuit and Yupik drumming. I use the two different types of drum and blend the drumming style of the Yupik and Inuit cultures in a bit of a western context. The Yupik tradition of hard beat and soft beat is represented in the dynamics of the drums. The Inuit tradition of establishing the steady beat and then passing rhythmic patterns between the parts is represented throughout the work in all of the drum parts. There is a nod to Athabascan old time fiddle music in the choice of an Irish/Scotish traditional melody entitled The Far North. This is also a traditional Canadian Northern Tier American camping and scouting song. Finally, there is a traditional Fanfare that can be used independently to call people to an event or back from an intermission. It is my sincere hope that this fanfare represents all of us in some way and leaves enough to the listener, that they will relate their own experience of the North in the music they hear. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1431316 By Keith Terrett. By Petur Alberg. Arranged by Keith Terrett. 20th Century,Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Keith Terrett #1011784. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.1431316). An arrangement of the Faroese National Anthem for Piano.Tú alfagra land mítt (Thou fairest land of mine), officially Mítt alfagra land (My fairest land), is the national anthem of the Faroe Islands. It was written in 1906 by headteacher Símun av Skarði, and the melody was composed in 1907 by violinist Petur Alberg. The song was written in a work dated 1 February 1906 by Símun av Skarði, the headmaster of a high school in Føgrulið, southwest of Klaksvík. It was written during a time of strong division in the Faroe Islands between conservatives who wanted to preserve Danish rule and autonomists who wanted more self-government, of which Símun was the latter.Violinist Petur Alberg wrote the first notes of the music of the anthem on 4 September 1907, after the melody came to him that evening. He later sang the melody down the phone in the Løgting to Símun av Skarði, who liked it. Petur then sent it to a music teacher he knew in Akureyri, Iceland, and to asked him to harmonise it for a male quartet. In October 1907, the male quartet arrangement arrived, and singers began to practice it for a Boxing Day concert in Sloan's Hall in Tórshavn. Petur, not daring to reveal the song's author, told the singers the song was Icelandic, by a certain Jón Sveinsson. However, the singers liked the song. The song was performed at the concert on 26 December 1907, which was the first time any song by Petur had been performed publicly and the first time Tú alfagra land mítt was performed publicly. On 8 January 1908, Tú alfagra land mítt was published in the Faroese newspaper Tingakrossur. It was then published in the Lesibók, a literary history in chronological order, in 1911. It was later published in many editions of the Songbók Føroya fólks (Faroese People's Songbook), generally in the number one position, from 1913 through 1959.In 1925, a Nynorsk translation of the song by Rolf Hjort Schøgen was published in the Tingakrossur. In 1928, a Danish translation by university student Tormod Jørgensen was published in Højskolebladet No. 7928.[1][2] An Icelandic translation by Jochum M. Eggertsson appeared in the magazine Dvöl in 1935. The same year, a German translation by Ernst Krenn was published in the Føroyaheftið (Faroese Instalment), a Faroese booklet at the Nordic Society in Vienna, Austria. In 1943, an English translation by Padre G. C. C. Knowleson was featured in the notes of the magazine The Pioneer by some British soldiers in the Faroe Islands during World War II. As the national anthem Tú alfagra land mítt won out in a rivalry with Eg oyggjar veit (I know some islands), from 1877, on which song should become the national anthem of the Faroe Islands. Tú alfagra land mítt has been sung at all festivals in the Faroe Islands, and it has been in the psalm book of the Faroese Church since 1990. The national radio station Útvarp Føroya, established in 1957, played it every night before ending its broadcast for the evening.

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.915679 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Richard Joseph Barber. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred. Score and parts. 11 pages. Barber Music Company #3556955. Published by Barber Music Company (A0.915679).    I started this piece back in the 80's for flute with piano accompaniment. My youngest daughter recently asked me to write some more things she could play in church, and being too busy to do something from scratch, it occurred to me that this piece would work fine for violin. It is about six minutes long with some nice mood changes. It would make a fine prelude, offertory or special. It would also be a good concert or recital piece.    It is challenging -- not a good selection for anyone less than advanced intermediate. The piano accompaniment also has its challenges. However, people who have heard this piece have found it quite enjoyable and have said so.   I wish a had a recording of a live performance to share with you, but this Finale version is really not to bad, especially when you consider that I am not very good yet at using the human playback feature that Finale offers. Some people really no how to make it sound fantastic. Not me.   If you have any comments or questions about this piece, please contact me at aspiringtunerrjb@sbcglobal.net. I would be delighted to hear from you.

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.750176 Composed by Bradley Sowash. Classical,Contemporary,Wedding. Score. 4 pages. Bradley Sowash #3894247. Published by Bradley Sowash (A0.750176). New, yet familiar-sounding wedding music.Somewhat reminiscent of Pachelbel’s famous Canon in D, it's a good fit for contemporary couples who want a ceremonial character but wish to avoid the cliche of traditional wedding marches. Download includes a photocopy license authorizing you to print as many copies as required for your personal and/or institutional use.  I originally wrote this classically-influenced piece as a string quartet for my own wedding. Thirty-five years later, my oldest daughter asked me to reset it for solo piano for her wedding and so here it is! Pianistically considerate, the patterned figures feel good under the fingers. A 4-measure introduction and clearly heard sections can serve as cues for timing the bride and groom’s entrance.Built in repeats are designed to cycle as needed for longer processionals or be cut and still sound musically coherent. Chord symbols are included as a reader's safety net or to facilitate improvisation.
