The melodies used in this new march entitled 'The Heroes of Telemark' are songs from Norway, Kviteseidsangen and Fjaasesundsangen are from Vest Telemark in Southern Norway, while Mellom bakker og berg is an old melody by Ludvig Mathias Lindeman (1812-1887). Keith Terrett has re-harmonised and orchestrated these fine melodies into an exciting march, in honour of the gallant 'Heroes of Telemark'.
