The Green Monkeys is one piece in the Hue Zoo set of violin duets. Â Designed to be performed by a beginning violin student and their instructor (or an advanced student), each piece in the Hue Zoo series focuses on a different technique appropriate for a beginning player, while sounding very sophisticated with the addition of the advanced duet part.
(Note about difficulty: Â The PRIMO part in each piece utilizes all first position and high 2s, while the SECONDO part includes advanced techniques, while remaining in first position.)
