Rhythmic triplet at the piano pass through almost the entire work, thereby recalling the constant movement of the floating ship along the waves. The violin's part is quite virtuoso and requires the performer to keep the rhythm as accurate as possible. Part II, Ad libitum poco rubatissimo - is the desire of the performers for complete freedom. The mastery of all kinds of violin sound techniques, combined with a versatile vibrato and mysterious pauses at the piano, makes this work truly interesting, unusual and intriguing for the listener.
