Flégier is principally known as havng composed the famous song for bass and orchestra “Le Corâ€, but he also wronte more than 300 works for piano, (including a concerto), many songs, an opéra-comique “Fatima, the oratoria Ossian and many chamber works, including the first “dixtuor†for wind quintet and string quintet.
