One of the most memorable songs from the fantastic 2013 album, AM, this arrangement of Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High provides a fun challenge as you play together the vocal melody and the catchy riff that underlies most of the song. Some fast runs of semiquavers in the meloy will get your fingers moving while later in the arrangement you will find yourself accompanying the melody with chords.
This arrangement will help you to practise: quavers and semiquavers(8th/16th notes), hammer-on/pull-offs, playing two different melodic lines simultaneously, staccato and rests, fingerstyle technique.
