The Trumpet Section takes the lead after the opening piano solo. The B section introduces the Saxophone and Trombone Sections supporting the Trumpets' lead with backgrounds. The C section brings a killer Saxophone soli before the solo section. The D section is an open solo section for the Saxophone section and can be repeated multiple times. The E and F sections bring in a (E) Trumpet soli and Trombone soli (F) as backgrounds while the Saxophonists are trading 8s until the last four measures of the F section, and they all will play the changes.The G section is a tutti for the ensemble as the rhythm section continues to play the changes with the last measures of the drummer setting up the conclusion to end the piece.

However, following his death there were no further productions until a school in London revived it in 1933. Handel used the melody of Lascia ch’io Pianga in two other works, but it is the version from Rinaldo that has achieved a deserved place in the concert hall, and a starring role in films like Farinelli.This version of Lascia ch’io Pianga is arranged as a Solo for Soprano Saxophone and Piano and both parts are reasonably simple; the performance time is around three and a half minutes.
