Published by Edward Berden (A0.1366529). Schubert wrote Winterreise in 1827, about a year before his death. The texts are poems by Wilhelm Müller who died in the year that Schubert wrote Winterreise.Schubert found the first twelve poems under the title Wanderlieder von Wilhelm Müller. It was after he set these, in February 1827, that he discovered the full series of poems in Müller's book of 1824, Poems from the posthumous papers of a travelling horn-player, dedicated to the composer Carl Maria von Weber, as a pledge of his friendship and admiration. Weber died in 1826. On 4 March 1827, Schubert invited a group of friends to his lodgings intending to sing the first group of songs, but he was out when they arrived, and the event was postponed until later in the year, when the full performance was given. This arrangement is made for SATB and can be sung with the original accompaniment by Schubert but there is also a set of parts for Wind-instruments. Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1476555 Composed by Michael Giacchino. Arranged by John Langley / Studio Orchestrations. Children,Classical,Comedy,Film/TV. 84 pages. Www.studio-orchestrations.com #1054065. Published by www.studio-orchestrations.com (A0.1476555). Taken from the Disney/Pixar animated movie UP, this is an arrangement that reflects the soundtrack that underlies the famous bitter sweet montage scene about Carl and Ellie Fredricksen's married life together.  It is animated film making and story telling at its brilliant best and supported equally brilliantly by the subtle genius of Michael Giacchino's music scoring. This arrangement version for chamber orchestra follows and reflects the music, scoring and structure of the soundtrack to this scene, although there are a few places where alternative solo or supporting harmony lines are given to give your ensemble options.  This would be a wonderful programing idea to any concert for kids, or a concert of film music or animated classics. The Youtube link shows a low res scrolling video of the score with the basic sibelius audio so you can judge whether this version would suit your event and/or ensemble.Instrumentation :Flute/PiccoloOboeClarinetBassoon2 HornsTrumpetTrombone2 Percussion[Drums/Triangle/Vibes/Glock.]PianoStringsLook out for similar arrangements and orchestrations by John Langley & Paul Campbell for www.studio-orchestrations.com.

Flute,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.899191 Composed by Charles H. Gabriel (1856-1932). Arranged by Arr. by Deborah M. Sylvester (1989-present). Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score and part. 9 pages. Silverflute Music #3098481. Published by Silverflute Music (A0.899191). A typical Silverflute arrangement, His Eye Is on the Sparrow is designed to musically pull out the meaning of the text while exploring much of its feature-instrument's range. The key remains in C the entire song, but other aspects of the song make for a rich listening experience as both piano and flute move seriously through some portions and more playfully (bird-like) through others. Changes in rhythm and performance style bring forth a fun little challenge to the performers, but guarantee a rewarding result. Please enjoy!
