At sunrise it asks God to bring Joy to the world; at noon it gives Thanks to the Lord and at sunset it asks Him to bring Peace to the world. In an exciting coda singers use stage-whispers to exhort the listeners to share Peace all around. It can be sung by ladies voices only or with an optional but very satisfying Bass part. There is also a simplified version suitable for schools or community/church groups. The attached audio clip is a live recording of an SSA choir.
