Bassoon,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844517 Composed by Robert Schumann. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Concert,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 7 pages. Phil Beaman #3490491. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844517). In 1849 Robert Schumann completed a set of Romantic character pieces for piano which he named Forest Scenes. One of that set was called Roadside Inn, which I have arranged for Instrumental Solo with Piano Accompaniment. In keeping with the characteristics of the Romantic period my arrangement is full of contrasts and constant shifts between dynamics, articulations, and themes. I took themes and fragments of themes from the original and re-ordered them into a bit of a rondo form. There are interpretive marks in every measure making it a great piece for auditions to show your technique and interpretation. Not too difficult to play but sounds quite advanced when all details are observed. Another feature is the beautiful harmonic interplay between the solo and accompaniment. To be played warmly and with passion to welcome people to your Roadside Inn.  2 1/2 minutes, 5 page score, 2 page solo partTemporary MIDI recording; a live performance will be much more expressive and free

Classical,Instructional,Standards,Wedding. 22 pages. Jmsgu3 #6249383. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.552161). Divertimento No. 31 Hob. XI:31 originally scored for Baryton, Viola & Cello in Three Movements:I. Adagio cantabileII. Allegro di moltoII. MenuettoScore: 12 pages, Duration: 12:00Franz Josef Haydn was an Austrian composer who is best known for his work in the field of chamber music. He composed in a variety of musical forms, including divertimenti, trios and string quartets. He was a prolific composer who wrote over 100 pieces of chamber music and is believed to have been a major influence on the music of his students and contemporaries, including Mozart and Beethoven. Haydn's music is known for its balance and clarity in structure. His chamber works were known for their accessibility and elegance, with melodies that were often lighthearted and charming. His symphonies were well-crafted and often featured balanced melodic elements. Haydn composed many well-known divertimenti and trios, but his string quartets are what he is most celebrated for. He wrote some sixty to eighty string quartets, and these works were historically significant for expanding the limits of the genre and for their influence on the composers and musicians who followed him.
