Battlestar Sonatica evokes Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, which director Ronald D. Moore wanted to use as unsettlingly familiar classical piano music representing Gaius Baltar's experiences on a Cylon Basestar.

PRACTICE needs would vary according to the level of the performers but my goal is to be sight-readable for most performers and groups.
