Small Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Ukulele,Voice,Xylophone - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565442 By Sharon Wilson. By Traditional. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Instructional,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 12 pages. Sharon Wilson #4357217. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565442). This sheet music is notated for 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Both parts play the melody for one verse beginning with part one (handbells) on the melody and part two (Boomwhackers®) on harmony. After a short interlude, part two plays the melody for the second verse while part one plays harmony. If you want to play only the first verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord chart is also provided to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. Lyrics are provided as well for sing along enjoyment.  Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel (though the color coding may not match). This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. If you have a set of bells or tubes with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the instruments match the Boomwhackers® color scheme. This set of scores is also available (separate purchase) in black and white which will print clearer if you do not have access to a color printer.Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Note assignment suggestions are included.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, children’s ministriesThis song is one of the 20 arrangements in the collection Folk Songs for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Color Coded Notes), VOL. 2. RayThompsonMusic #450440. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.844927). Arranged standard brass quintet: 2tpts, hn. tbn and tuba. Opening piano solo arr horn and tuba, then melody is taken by tpt 2 , chorus by trumpet 1. Fun for everyone.Martha My Dear is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1968 eponymous double album The Beatles (also known as the White Album). Credited to Lennon–McCartney, the song was written solely by Paul McCartney about his Old English Sheepdog, Martha. It has been covered by several artists, including Slade, Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, Phish, World Party, and Les Boréades de Montréal.The song incorporates elements from pop rock music; it also features a music hall-inspired piano line that recurs throughout the piece, as well as a brass section. The song modulates through several keys The song is notated mainly in the key of E♭ major, showing up embellished chords with jazzy sprinkled dissonances. The verse is a syncopated replicate of the first melodic section adding two extra beats, a technique similar to that used later by McCartney in Two of Us. Though the bridge is in the key of F major, the manner in which it abruptly sets in and exits makes it sound more out-of-the-way than it really is.

Bass Guitar TAB - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1475418 By Tracy DeanMcCallum. By Tracy DeanMcCallum. Arranged by Tracy DeanMcCallum. Jazz. Score. 1 pages. Tracy Dean McCallum #1052968. Published by Tracy Dean McCallum (A0.1475418). https://tracymccallum.comTom Little: A Jazzy Bass Groove Tom Little is a funky bass guitar piece built on a foundation of swinging jazz chords. It evokes a laid-back yet sophisticated feel, perfect for setting the pocket in a jazz combo or adding a touch of cool to a solo performance. The Groove: Tempo: Medium swing (around 100-120 BPM) Feel: Relaxed and laid-back, with a steady pulse in the eighth notes. Articulation: Mostly legato (smoothly connected notes) with accents on the downbeat and upbeat for a driving feel. The Chords: Tom Little utilizes a classic jazz chord progression that cycles through ii-V-I movement in a minor key. This creates a sense of anticipation and resolution, characteristic of jazz harmony. The Bassline: The bassline weaves between the root notes of the chords, outlining the harmony while adding rhythmic interest through syncopation and walking bass lines. Ghost notes can be incorporated for a subtle, percussive effect. Tom Little's Solo: (Optional) Tom Little can be expanded into a full piece with a bass solo section. Here, the bassist explores the chord changes with melodic improvisation, showcasing their knowledge of jazz scales and techniques like double stops and chromaticism. Overall Vibe: Tom Little is a versatile piece that can be enjoyed by both bassists and jazz enthusiasts. It's a great way to practice essential jazz techniques on the bass while creating a cool and catchy groove.

String Quartet Cello,Double Bass,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742568 By The Beatles. By George Harrison. Arranged by Javier Martínez. Rock. Score and parts. 15 pages. Arte Nova Music Lab #6274193. Published by Arte Nova Music Lab (A0.742568). Something is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist, and is widely viewed by music historians as having marked his ascendancy as a composer to the level of the Beatles' principal songwriters, John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Two weeks after the album's release, the song was issued on a double A-side single, coupled with Come Together, making it the first Harrison composition to become a Beatles A-side. The pairing was also the first time in the United Kingdom that the Beatles issued a single containing tracks already available on an album. While the single's commercial performance was lessened by this, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States as well as charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and West Germany, and peaked at number 4 in the UK.Taken from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Something_(Beatles_song)

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.809889 Composed by Robert E. Proctor. Blues,Contemporary. Score and parts. 270 pages. R. E. Proctor #4800403. Published by R. E. Proctor (A0.809889). This concerto is in the traditional three movement format with the first and third movements being fast and the middle movement slow.  The second and third movements are most like a blues work.  The first movement is a rondo format, is not particularly bluesy.  A Les Paulâ„¢ guitar would play particularly well in this movement.  The second movement switches between the soloist as the distorted guitar sound to the vocalist as the clean guitar sound.  The final movement is happy, upbeat, and lively good time blues.  In the second and third movements in particular, the basses (cello, double bass) should be easily heard. At the end of the third movement, the precisionist on the drum set should improvise a loud, untimed measure, solo utilizing all the drums and cymbals in the set ending with four moderately paced and slowing beats on the snare drum.  A momentary pause, then the final chord. The guitarist will need at least one foot pedal for distortion enabling him/her to switch between a clean sound and a distorted sound.  The guitar should be the equivalent of a Fenderâ„¢ Stratocaster or Telecaster guitar; a Gibsonâ„¢ Les Paul would do nicely also.  The music is partially fingered leaving the player the opportunity to interpret the part.  The work is after the fashion of Chicago style blues of the 1960’s.  The conductor and guitarist may wish to listen to recordings by the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, John Lee Hooker, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, B.B. King, etc. to get a feel for the music of the 1960’s blues bands.  It would be highly desirable to use an organ, for the 3rd movement, that can produce a Hammond B3â„¢ with Leslie sound, as that instrument was widely used in blues of that period.  Although some of the notes notated as harmonics (h) in the score can be played as fretted notes, playing them as natural and artificial harmonics provides an interesting change of tonality.  The orchestral part is not particularly challenging.  The concerto is approx. 17 minutes in length.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.835771 Composed by Paul Burnell. Contemporary. Score. 21 pages. Paul Burnell #3110459. Published by Paul Burnell (A0.835771). Subside (from choleric to phlegmatic and back again) Composed 2004 Duration 6:00 approx. For ensemble and percussion This work was written in February 2004 in response to a call for pieces on the theme of 'The Four Temperaments'. This was part of CoMA’s Open Score project, made possible with funds from the Esmée Fairbairn and PRS Foundations. Programme note:'Subside' outlines a slow mood change from controlled violent anger to tenderness, then a sudden flip back to anger again. Technical notes: Percussion is essential, with the choice of instruments left to the discretion of the player(s), using the directions in the one-page score as a guide. The percussionists play on the 2nd and 4th beats throughout the piece - accenting the 4th beat. Other instrumentalists are divided between Parts 1 - 4. Parts are available in numerous transpositions - though it should be possible for instruments in C to read from the score. The dynamic markings in the score apply to all the parts. The size of the ensemble is not indicated, but ideally there should be enough players to allow for a reduction in the number of people playing two bars before letter D, and a further reduction to solo instruments six bars before letter E. However, this guidance can be ignored and the piece played by quite a small group; for example - violin, piano and percussion, or organ and percussion. If flutes and violins play Part 1 - the flutes may play an octave higher than written until letter A, and the violins may play tremolando until letter A. Keyboard players can play combinations of all parts. In addition, or alternatively, the keyboard players may double parts 3 and 4 an octave lower than written where indicated by the horizontal brackets, for example in the third and fourth bars. The allocation of instruments to the parts is left to the discretion of the musical director / performers - but should take account of the dynamic markings and expression indications. The last 2 bars of the piece are played 5 times in total.
