This unpublished march could have been called “Homage to Nevin and Foster�, “Homage to Pittsburgh�, or “The Belle of Pittsburgh�.It is one of Sousa’s more unusual works, but highly inventive. His combination of themes is well executed and builds throughout to a triumphant conclusion.
