Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.504884 By ABBA. By Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Pop. Score. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer (A0.504884). With this sheet music, you can play The Winner Takes It All by ABBA on piano! It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song, in the original key of Gb major. The vocal melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect piano solo cover. Of course, you can also use this piano arrangement to accompany a singer, or sing along yourself - this sheet music includes a staff for the vocals, as well as the song's full lyrics! The Winner Takes It All was the first single from ABBA's 1980 album Super Trouper, which became the best-selling album of that year in the UK. The song became a huge international success, and their last top 10 hit in the US before the band broke up in 1982. It is often assumed that the famous ballad was inspired by the divorce between Björn Ulvaeus (who wrote the song's lyrics) and Agnetha Fältskog (who sang the lead vocals), but Ulvaeus said the song was the experience of a divorce, but it's fiction. 'Cause one thing I can say is that there wasn't a winner or a loser in our case. A lot of people think it's straight out of reality, but it's not. In any case, The Winner Takes It All is a fantastic ballad, an iconic hit from the early 80s, and it makes for a fantastic piano cover!

Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.1420879). The Winner Takes It All is a song recorded by the group ABBA.It was released as the first single from the album Super Trouper in 1980.HistoryThe Winner Takes it All tells of a painful winner takes all separation. The vocals are with Agnetha Fältskog. In one of his interviews, Björn Ulvaeus openly revealed that the lyrics were inspired by his separation with Agnetha that had occurred at Christmas in 1978. He also revealed that the song was written in an hour with a bottle of whiskey on the table.Because of the music, there was great anticipation for the release of the album, becoming one of the band's most anticipated releases of the year.Around two million copies were sold in pre-sales.It reached the Top 10 in Australia, Canada, Italy, Spain and the United States (where it became the group's fourth and final hit to reach the Top 10 of the music charts, reaching 8th place; the song spent 26 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 , more than any other ABBA single).

Individual part. 2 pages. MP Sheet Music #1005853. Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.1424752). Mamma Mia was written in the home of Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus, and was the last track recorded for the ABBA album. The lyrics talk about a woman who is constantly disappointed by her unfaithful partner, but who continues to forgive him anyway. Its recording took place on March 12, 1975 at Metronome studio and was included on the album as the number #1 track. Originally, ABBA did not plan to release the song as a single.Around this time, many artists were recording ABBA songs (such as Honey, Honey and Bang a Boomerang), which led the group to offer Mamma Mia to British band Brotherhood of Man, but it was turned down. However, a promotional video for the song had already been made in April 1975 and was broadcast in Australia. The video sparked interest in the group, and Mamma Mia spent 10 weeks at number one on the Australian charts, encouraging them to release the song as a single.
