Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1083536 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), John Nicholson. Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 3 pages. Kevin G. Pace #687736. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1083536). A beautiful, new musical hymn setting of this famous text by John Nicholson. Music by Kevin G. Pace. Text: Come, follow me, the Savior said. Then let us in his footsteps tread, For thus alone can we be one With God's own loved begotten Son. Come, follow me, a simple phrase, Yet truth's sublime, effulgent rays Are in these simple words combined To urge inspire the human mind. Is it enough alone to know That we must follow him below, While trav'ling thru this vale of tears? No No this extends to holier spheres. Not only shall we emulate His course while in this earthly state, But when we're freed from present cares, if with our Lord we would be heirs. We must the onward path pursue As wider fields expand to view, And follow him unceasingly, WhatWhat e'er our lot or sphere may be. For thrones, dominions, kingdoms, pow'rs, And glory great and bliss are ours, If we throughout eternity, Obey his words, Come follow me. Chorus: Come, follow me. Come follow me. Obey the Savior's words, Come follow me. follow me..

String Orchestra - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1234470 By a-ha. By Magne Furuholmne, Morton Harket, and Pal Waaktaar. Arranged by Laura Gorden. Hip-Hop,Instructional,Pop,R & B,Soul. Score and Parts. 16 pages. Laura Gorden #829975. Published by Laura Gorden (A0.1234470). An arrangement of the hit song Take on Me as recorded by a-ha for string orchestra. The arrangement includes the score and parts around Grade Level 2 1/2. This score provides educational opportunities for young orchestras with specific concepts such as syncopated rhythms, transitioning from pizzacato to arco and back within short rests, bow changes over a long single note, and ensemble bowing decisions. There is no shifting for vln, vla or cello, however, small shifting for bass up to a 'high d' on the G string.  This arrangement is a shorter version than the original song and has a cheesy end with the melody plucked across all strings. The tempo is marked up a bit to match the style of the original, but please choose a tempo to best suite your orchestra. Hope you enjoy!

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1267134 By Peggy Lee. By Joe McCoy. Arranged by Michael Thomas Coull. 20th Century,Blues,Contemporary,Jazz,Standards. 10 pages. MTC Publishing #859768. Published by MTC Publishing (A0.1267134). Why Don't You Do Right (Get Me Some Money, Too) - Choral Arrangement for SATB and Piano arranged by Michael Thomas CoullWhy Don't You Do Right (Get Me Some Money Too!) was originally recorded as Weed Smoker's Dream and is an American blues and jazz-influenced pop song written by ‘Kansas Joe’ McCoy and Herb Morand in 1936.  Both men are given composer credits on the original 78 record label, although Morand’s name is misspelled. In 1936, the Harlem Hamfats recorded the Weed Smoker’s Dream.  Band member Joe McCoy later rewrote the song, refining both the composition and lyrics.  The new tune, titled Why Don't You Do Right (Get Me Some Money Too!), was recorded by Lil Green in 1941, with guitar by William ‘Big Bill’ Broonzy.  The minor key twelve-bar blues song, with a few chord substitutions, proved popular and quickly became a jazz standard. With its roots in blues music, the song originally dealt with a marijuana smoker reminiscing about lost financial opportunities.  After it was rewritten, it took on the perspective of the female partner, chastising her man for his irresponsible ways:  ‘Why don't you do right, like some other men do?  Get out of here and get me some money too!’A wonderful bluesy arrangement for full SATB choir with piano accompaniment, not just fun for the choir to sing, but also one the audience will really enjoy too.

Clarinet Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1176345 Composed by W H Monk and Traditional. Arranged by Hugh Levey. Christian,Patriotic,Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred. 11 pages. Woodwindly.com #776472. Published by woodwindly.com (A0.1176345). Clarinet Quartet - 3 x Bb Clarinets and Bass Clarinet This publication is also available as a Clarinet Quintet (Clarinet Quartet as above plus Bb Soloist e.g. clarinet or trumpet). This arrangement combines two emotionally charged pieces of music. The 19th century hymn Abide with Me, set to the tune Eventide, is often used for funerals. The 18th century bugle call The Last Post is often played to commemorate those who have lost their lives in armed conflict and is played at annual Remembrance Day services in much of the English speaking world. Here the come together in a lovely arrangement where the soloist plays the bugle call while the clarinet quartet play the hymn. In the version without soloist, clarinet 1 plays a hymn line as well as the bugle call. This work is suitable for funerals, other solemn occasions, military events and recitals.Note that the audio and scrolling score video is of the Clarinet Quintet version. The quartet is the same arrangement but the solo part is embedded in the 1st clarinet part.

Handbell - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.953733 Composed by Frank M. Davis, Henry Smart, John Hughes, Robert Lowry, William B. Bradbury, and and George A. Young. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 10 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #14705. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953733). God: Our Leader Medley is a 120 measure arrangement for 4-5 octave handbell choir and 3 octaves of OPTIONAL associated handchimes, although the handchime parts can also be played by handbells. The overall theme is the leadership of God in the life of the Christian. This is a medley of 7 Christian hymns. The first 4 are requests---requests to God to lead us. The last 3 are descriptions of God leading us (responses by God). The 1st request is presented by the handchimes playing Savior Lead Me. This is a simple, easy to play section in the key of D. Still in D, the 2nd request is Lead on, O King Eternal. After a false modulation, the 3rd request is Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us. This features a few bass runs. After a modulation to the key of G, the 4th request starts with Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehova. Also featuring some bass runs, it also makes use of descant lines. The 1st response, also in G, is All the Way My Savior Leads Me. This section is not in the original 3/4 time, but in 4/4 time, although near the end it reverts to the normal 3/4. It makes heavy use of fills and a brief descant line. The 2nd response is a 6/4 version of God Leads Us Along in the key of C. Again, there is a brief descant line. The last response is He Leadeth Me, also in C, that features two descant passages, and bass runs in the last two lines. After the first section of the overall arrangement, the chords used are often significantly more interesting than the chords normally used with these 7 hymns. This arrangement uses various dynamic and tempo markings, in order to achieve musical contrast, and still be true to the character of the original hymns. (The MP3 audio demonstration file provided is in a piano patch (voice), although the actual arrangement is for (and, of course, will sound better with a) handbell choir.) This arrangement is probably a level 2+ (2 plus) degree of difficulty.
