Small Ensemble Cello,Harpsichord,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.890771 Composed by Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni. Arranged by Sneakwood Editions. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 8 pages. Sneakwood Editions #4782289. Published by Sneakwood Editions (A0.890771). While in Venice, Pisendel met another of the great Italian composers of the time, Tomaso Albinoni. Albinoni, too, was captivated by the young virtuoso, to the extent that Pisendel returned to Dresden with three sonatas for violin and continuo copied by the Italian master himself. But, although we can assume that all three sonatas were dedicated in some way to Pisendel, it is the Sonata for violin and continuo in B flat Major that bears a special dedication on its frontispiece: Sonata a Violino solo di me Tomaso Albinoni Composta p[er] il Sig:[re] Pisendel. And not only this dedication but also certain musical aspects lead us to believe that the sonata in question may have been written specifically for Pisendel. The sonata goes beyond Albinoni’s usual technical requirements, exploring the upper register of the violin in a way that appears only rarely in other sonatas by this Italian. And, in the second movement, marked Allegro, we find an unusual and virtuoso use of triple stops in a fast semi-quaver rhythm. This singular effect is used by Albinoni in only one other work, the Concerto for violin and strings in C Major Co2, although with a strange and interesting nuance: of the versions of the concerto that remain we find this technique only in a manuscript version in Dresden, the version that Pisendel brought back from Italy in 1717 together with the sonata. Other versions of the concerto, such as the one published by Roger around 1717, or other manuscript versions do not contain the triple-stop passages. This suggests that they may be a personal touch added by Albinoni in recognition of Pisendel’s remarkable performing skills.

Cello,Flute,Piano,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1381044 Composed by Jason V. Barabba. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Disco. 48 pages. Barabba Music #965759. Published by Barabba Music (A0.1381044). It’s difficult to know what to say about this piece. It will probably always be an aberration when considered as part of my larger body of works. My challenge when writing this piece was to incorporate two different dance styles, and I immediately decided it was time to face the disco music of my childhood. Yes, I had the Bee Gees on LP when I was a kid.…and ABBA…but I left them out of this piece.Obviously, this is meant to be fun. There are direct (if not always obvious) quotations to the following songs:              Anita Ward’s “Ring My Bell”              “Night Fever” by the Bee Gees              Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” (Just had to be included)              Lipps Inc’s “Funktown”              and “Boogie Nights” from HeatwaveThe ancient dance form known as the pavane is, weirdly enough, the perfect pairing with the disco…in that their rhythmic structures easily go together, allowing me to spread the disco material around throughout the piece. In fact, the references to “I Will Survive” are in the slower pavane section, not the disco. The piece is basic A-B-A form (Disco-Pavane-Disco) with a fadeout ending…because in all my research I don’t remember finding a single disco piece that didn’t have a fadeout ending. It just wasn’t done. Please have some fun listening to this piece, because I had a great time writing it. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever written..pdf contains a complete set of score and parts. There are also versions with clarinet and oboe in place of the flute available. For more information visit www.jasonbarabba.com.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912632 Composed by Johnson Lee. Contemporary. Score. 2 pages. Johnson lee #1920997. Published by johnson lee (A0.912632). This tune was premiered at the funeral of the first Prime Minister of Singapore Mr Lee Kuan Yew. This tune pays tribute to the people who have made contributions to this world. Their sacrifice and generosity have enriched us. Their love and spirit is passed on to the future and their example for us to follow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lJP6M6klPkRemarks from my friend Samantha Tang:I like the first half and very last part. Last Part is like a link back to the beginning, like a you went round a full circle, depicting life cycle. Beginning Part is is soothing and gradual; Somewhat like a child starting his life. It builds up and peak like a peak of one's life or career. There is one part I like, sounded like a mix of regrets and acceptance.   When I listen to this piece of music, the word reflections comes to my mind. The second half that sounded bold reminds me of part of one's life where he was leading at his best. Its a peaceful Song with a lot of emotions that developed progressively.Samantha showed this video to a boy with Autism and he calmed down. I was told that the usual Mozart music does not calm him down anymore and he paid no interest. I like the first half and very last part. Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.519073 By Alessia Cara. By Lin-Manuel Miranda. Arranged by Elli Kozak. Broadway,Children,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Rock. Score. 6 pages. Elli Kozak #129699. Published by Elli Kozak (A0.519073). Please feel free to reach out to me at elli@ellikozakmusic.com with arrangement requests! Solo piano late-beginner arrangement of Disney's Moana's hit, How Far I'll Go. The sample you hear is a snippet from the chorus section of the arrangement. This beginner arrangement transposed to C major has large noteheads with note names written in them. The left hand is very simplified, usually just playing 1-note whole notes at a time. The right hand rhythm is simplified, but still stays quite true to the original. This is a great way of playing a very impressive piece at an early stage in one's piano-learning journey for a student with good intuition. I hope you enjoy playing this arrangement!

Small Ensemble Bass Clef Instrument,Bass Trombone,Euphonium,Tenor Trombone,Trombone/Baritone B.C.,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.961201 Composed by George M. Cohan. Arranged by Robert Coil. Broadway,Holiday,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score and parts. 12 pages. Polished Brass #6231635. Published by Polished Brass (A0.961201). Arranged for trombone quintet, with an eye to sharing the melody and interest among all parts. The range on the first part is to Bb4 above the staff and the bass trombone goes to Bb1 below the staff. This should be within the grasp of a good high school group, and has enough variety to be enjoyed by advanced players. (ASPN pitch notation) Of particular interest for trombonists are the falls and interplay between the melody and the echo parts. It is hard to find a tune that does a better job of capturing the pride of the Irish than Harrigan. Harrigan was written for the musical Fifty Miles From Boston which opened February 3, 1908 and closed a month later. The song title is a tribute to the Irish-American actor, Edward Harrigan. While the other major songs from the musical are rarely performed, Harrigan found favor with audiences. Born to Irish parents, it shouldn't be surprising that Cohan's lyrics, proud of all the Irish that is in me have a heart-felt ring to them. It didn't hurt that another actor of Irish descent, James Cagney, sang the piece in the very successful production about Cohan, Yankee Doodle Dandy. The arranger, Bob Coil, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of music, where he studied bass trombone with Betty Glover. Dr. Coil is the leader of the Bones of Cincinnatus trombone ensemble in Cincinnati, OH.

Piano,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1022755 Composed by Stefano Maria Torchio. Concert,Contemporary,World. 4 pages. Stefano Torchio #3115915. Published by Stefano Torchio (A0.1022755). Stefano Maria Torchio: ScherzinoAs the title says (engl.: little scherzo), it's a small, playful, light and bouncy piece, that features a free atonal style and funny asimmetrical rhythms and metrics. It's not difficult but it could be wise to practice it slower at first, in order to check careful the intonation and the correct smooth and legato articulation between the fingers of left hand of the Violin player. The most careful precision in rhythm and differentiation between the articulations (that in general tends to a light staccato) is required. The piece is also suitable for school pourposes and concerts and also for liturgical ones (for example at the offertory or as final piece) by special festive occasion. Primarily it was composed for a wedding ceremony and it was for Piano and Organ and for Church Bell Carillon.Composer's dataStefano Maria Torchio is an Italian Violinist, Composer and Orchestra and Choir Conductor born in Padova, who builded his education between Italy (Conservatories of Padova and Vicenza, Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Accademia L. Perosi in Biella and R. Romanini Foundation in Brescia) and the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He's member of S.A.C.E.M. for copyright protection. You can find me on: facebook, instagram (stefano.mus) and twittere-mail: stefanotorchio84@gmail.com
