Small Ensemble Bassoon,Cello,Clarinet,Flute,Oboe,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.757329 Composed by Carl Baermann. Arranged by Ray Kamada. Baroque. Score and parts. 8 pages. The Lone Arranger #3141313. Published by The Lone Arranger (A0.757329). Largely polyphonic, i.e., three melody lines interwoven to create a trio. The clarinet line comes from a study by 19th century clarinetist Carl Baermann (1810 - 1885) as rendered in David Hite's Melodious and Progressive Studies for Clarinet. So, the main melody will be familiar to many clarinetists, as well as their students. Can be performed as either a woodwind or mixed wind/strings trio. Baermann lived and wrote during the classical and romantic eras, yet the piece is distinctly baroque in character. The accompanying mp3 employs my atypical yet preferred sound blend: clarinet, flute, and cello.
