A suite in four movements for orchestra taken from the contemporary opera On the Wings of the Scarlet Messenger by American Costa Rican composer James Nathaniel Holland. The first, Dance of the Spirits is a percussionists dream evoking Southeast Asian flavor and energy. The second movement The Party: Intermezzo is a popular dance type of driving beat. The suite slows with the third movement with the haunting The Party: Art Imitates Life and a recap of the Spanish chorus here arranged for orchestra Bailen, Canten, Que Noche Bonita Perfect for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day concert. Use with the arrangement Bailen, Canten Que Noche Bonita with chorus or any of the stand alone arias from the opera.
