Large Ensemble Choir - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.995827 Composed by Leontovych Mykola. Arranged by Yury Ilinov. Christmas. Score and parts. 38 pages. Yury Ilinov #4982653. Published by Yury Ilinov (A0.995827). This is a very easy to play arrangement of one of the most popular Christmas Carols for full symphony orchestra (with only 2 horns and 1 trombone), which could be easily played by a youth or even children's orchestra. What is also special, is that I have added the text in the Ukranian language, so that more audiences could get acquainted with the original sound of the carol. We performed one verse in English, and the other in the Ukranian. For this the same text comes two times, with a little bit different choral arrangement. Please see that there are two variants of the choral part: just with the English text and with the Ukranian (a little bit overpopulated with syllables). If there is need, I would readily make a version with the two verses in the Ukranian and a translation.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.955894 Composed by Traditional 16th century English folksong. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Christmas,Contemporary. Score. 9 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6856893. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955894). What Child Is This? is a ‘Christmas carol’ with lyrics written by William Chatterton Dix in 1865, set to the tune of the traditional English folk song ‘Greensleeves’.  The lyrics are taken from his poem The Manger Throne.  The song What Child Is This? was first published in 1871 in Christmas Carols Old and New.  The tune ‘Greensleeves’ association with the festive season can be dated back to 1642; also Shakespeare refers to this popular tune twice in his famous play Merry Wives of Windsor.  This arrangement is scored for solo voice with piano accompaniment.  Performance time: 3:12. It is arranged with the awe and wonder (and perhaps confusion) the townspeople and shepherds experienced with the birth of ‘this child.’
