However the arrangement also works fine with just one flute, with accompaniment. Included in the sheet music download are parts for 2 flutes (flute duet) and a part for just one flute. The difficulty level of this arrangement is early intermediate. It would be a great resource for flute teachers to play with their students in lessons during the run-up to Christmas. I have kept the melody of each carol to be pretty much true to the original, without adding too many fancy bits, although I've jazzed things up from time to time and added some syncopation here and there.
