I started a new line of flute arrangements called Compositions that Care.  With these arrangements, all the money sued to purchase these arrangements goes to special charity or cause . This specific arrangement is for Breast Cancer . This is something that 1 in 8 women will develop in their lifetime, and is special to me because I've had family members, friends and co-workers effected by this cancer. Generally speaking, for October, I would arrange so fun or scary Halloween song, however, October is Breast Cancer Awareness. I could not think of anything better to do than a beautiful arrangement , to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer.  
    This well written, beautiful song by Kate Bush would make a great addition to your music library, something very different and memorable not only for a general audience , but especially for an event celebrating Women , for a breast cancer survivor, for friends and family also effected by this cancer , or a movie or tv themed concert because this song was featured in the movie in She's having a Baby :, to tv shows like Alias and recently in The Hand Maids Tale . This is something very different , beautiful, and easy to derive emotional expression from, and for many this song as well as this cause will be very meaningful for many people

This song is public domain, written in the 1850's, during a time - pre-civil war - when the nation was being torn apart. The writer calms his anxiety by holding on to God's promises. I had been doing some in the last year or so because I've got a poetry book out called Blackbird Singing, and when I would read Blackbird, I would always try and think of some explanation to tell the people, 'cause there's not a lot you can do except just read the poem, you know, you read 10 poems that takes about 10 minutes, almost. It's like, you've got to, just, do a bit more than that. So, I was doing explanations, and I actually just remembered why I'd written Blackbird, you know, that I'd been, I was in Scotland playing on my guitar, and I remembered this whole idea of you were only waiting for this moment to arise was about, you know, the black people's struggle in the southern states, and I was using the symbolism of a blackbird. This Guy's in Love with You is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and recorded by Herb Alpert. Although known primarily for his trumpet playing as the leader of the Tijuana Brass, Alpert sang lead vocals on this solo recording, arranged by Bacharach. An earlier recording of the song was by British singer Danny Williams titled That Guy's in Love, which appears on his 1968 self-titled album.

As documented in an A&E Biography episode featuring Bacharach, the recording originated when Alpert, while visiting at Bacharach's office, asked, Say, Burt, do you happen to have any old compositions lying around that you and Hal never recorded; maybe one I might be able to use? Alpert said he made it his practice to ask songwriters that particular question: often a lost pearl was revealed. As it happened, Bacharach recalled one, found the lyrics and score sheet in his office filing cabinet, and offered it to Alpert: Here, Herb ... you might like this one.
