I mostly play this piece at weddings, and since it is often several weeks or months between performances, I like to use this 'simplified' arrangement because I can get it under my fingers again quickly. I like the resonance of the drop D tuning, however for those weddings when it is not convenient to tune down, I use an arrangement in E major, also published on this site.

This is my composition named Just Having Fun. It was writen for standard jazz band (Drum, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano), and small brass band (Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Trumpet, Trombone).

Now the idea of this piece is short challenge for musician in different levels, everyone can enjoy. Featuring brass tutti, high note on trumpet, Snarky puppy feels, gospel solos and mysterious feel solos. Feel free to repeate some solo sections to play on different instruments if you want. :)

I don't put any midi demo here because I want you to explore the music by yourself, I see no point of listening to contemporary composition on midi. But I understand that some of you may be upset, and for that I appologize

Javisst is swedish for Absolutely!/Sure! and A-vista is a different term for sight reading. In this game the players get to exercise their sight reading in a fun manner! I created this sheet because I had trouble finding exercises basic enough for my students, and when I tried this in a group setting it was a success! I hope it can bring joy to more students around the world!

I also believe that it helped develop my intonation because I could hear harmonically and not just melodically when I played by myself. A secondo violin part has been composed to achieve this.

All kids want to play Jingle Bells and learning it should not add to the stress of the Holidays!  I designed this for a thrid grade classroom that needed to learn it in two weeks.  Even kids that only get classroom music once a week, can take this home and play for Mom and Dad.   Make this the first song they really play by themselves!

This reproducible one page version of the famous chorus by James Pierpont has large-note Alpha-Note printing, is in the key of G and starts on B.   For recorders this means fingering with only one hand, it is also usable for school xylophone and Orff instruments, keyboards, flutes, (although a beginning flutist would have to go over the break for notes C and D).    If you would like to contact me for a transposition to another instrument, I can be reached at Sunshinenotes@Gmail.com.   I am entering this in the 2018 Holliday Arranging Contest because I believe that simplicity is sometimes exactly what is needed.
