Instrumental Duet Cello,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.773762 Composed by Anthony Giamanco. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 5 pages. Whole Tone Press #5196425. Published by Whole Tone Press (A0.773762). This short, but expressive 12-tone work for flute and cello is an ideal choice for recital. In its brief eleven measures the instruments carry on a conversation, at times quite animated. A brief argument ensues, giving way to a peaceful resolution. This advanced work utilises constantly shifting meters, bounding leaps, and a wide range of dynamics. Best of all, it's great fun to play!  Anthony Giamanco is a member of ASCAP. His many piano, organ, choir, and chamber works are in the catalogs of numerous publishers including GIA, Shawnee Press, Alfred, Augsburg Fortress, Lorenz, and others. His pieces also can be purchased through sheetmusicplus.com and JW Pepper. Anthony's music can be heard on his website, anthonygiamanco.com, and on YouTube. Contact info: tony@shalomlife.org.

Appalachia Waltz MO102AAppalachia Waltz for Violin, Cello and Double Bass by Mark O’ConnorCello Part (Score for vln, vla, cel is available for reference MO101A)Music by Mark O’Connor2 pages - 5:40 minutes in length Appalachia Waltz by Mark O’Connor is the title track from the album featuring O’Connor, Yo-Yo Ma, and Edgar Meyer. The Sony Classical release debuted and then stayed for several months at the No.1 position on Billboard Magazine’s Classical music chart. O’Connor originally composed the piece as a solo for unaccompanied violin in 1993. For the recording with Ma in 1996, O’Connor and Meyer re-arranged the waltz for violin, cello and doublebass. O’Connor adapted for the instrumentation f violin, viola and cello as well. Appalachia Waltz might well be one of Mark O’Connor’s most-loved compositions. It utilizes musical inspiration from Scandinavian and Appalachian folk fiddling, while crafted into a classical music setting. The music is suited for advanced and intermediate levels. Original music printed from the composer’s manuscripts.Music editing, copying and engraving by Mark O’Connorusing Finale on Apple Macintosh 1993 Composed By Mark O’ConnorOriginally released on Appalachia Waltz featuring Mark O'Connor, Yo-Yo Ma and Edgar Meyer, Sony ClassicalOther versions can be heard on Mark O'Connor's Crossing Bridges, Duo by Mark and Maggie O’Connor OMAC Records and The Essential Mark O’Connor Sony ClassicalCatalogue Number MO102ACopyright © 1993 by Mark O’Connor Music InternationalFor more information on violinist and composer Mark O'Connor, O’Connor String Camps, Touring Ensembles, Discography, Bio, Repertoire and more, please visitwww.markoconnor.com For information on the O’Connor Method – instructional book series for violin, viola, cello and school string orchestra programs:www.oconnormethod.com

Cello Duet Cello - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1156756 Composed by Johann Justus Friedrich Dotzauer. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,Chamber,Instructional,Romantic Period,Traditional. Score. 44 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #757087. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1156756). The Russian Air with Twenty Variations for Cello Solo, accompanied by a Second Cello, Op. 32, by J. J. F. Dotzauer (1783—1860), was composed and published around 1815. It is one of the many set of variations written upon the theme “Їхав козак за Дунай†(“The Cossack rode beyond the Danubeâ€) during the second decade of the XIX century, others including those by Beethoven and Hummel. Despite the title, the theme is of Ukrainian origin but, at the time of its diffusion in Europe, under a German disguise, the region that is now Ukraine was part of the Russian Empire. The language of the text makes its origin unmistakable today. After a fascinating slow Introduction, the theme comes and is followed by twenty variations, most of which requiring great virtuosity. This is a concert piece, lasting anywhere between 14 and 24 minutes according to whether repeats will be played or not. An outstanding variety of techniques is employed, making this a true challenge for even the most gifted players. This edition is based on the oldest surviving source, the first edition by Friedrich Hofmeister. It corrects the most glaring mistakes, and adds notes where ambiguity arises. This edition is dedicated to Yuriy Leonovich.
