Unison/Two-part chorus - Digital Download SKU: C7.CGA609 A Song of Concern. Composed by Helen Kemp. General. Sacred Anthem. Octavo. 8 pages. Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGA609. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGA609). UPC: 749193000595.Here is an extremely flexible piece written for unison, 2 part (treble or mixed), or 3 or 4 part mixed voices with keyboard. As noted on page 2 of the publication, the anthem is successful with the melody (soprano line) sung alone or in combination with any or all of the other voice parts. This attractive piece is based on the 17th century Dutch tune, VRUECHTEN, with a new text by Tom Mitchell. Although not notated for handbells, the composer says that he tried substituting bells for the keyboard accompaniment, and reports that it worked quite effectively.
