For advanced intermediate performers, this is sheer fun from start to finish, and very suitable for Christmas concerts. The opening measures can be omitted, and the song commence where the piano enters. The piano left hand plays a walking bass throughout and can be performed with a double bass player, as in the recording provided - contact me for the extracted part, or if interested in a recorded piano accompaniment. For more advanced performers, this perennial favorite is suitable for Christmas concerts and church preludes or offertories; it can be taken at either a moderate or a slower tempo, and is around 5 minutes in length.
