This piece,originally for piano, is one of three.

Satie wrote it without bar lines: I have added dashed ones to aid performance.

The melody moves around the instruments,and I have varied the accompaniment giving the bass to the three lower clarinets.

The expression marks are my own. Satie marks the piece p throughout, with some cresc/dim.

My arrangement differs from many others, in that the melody is NOT given to one instrument throughout.

I have transposed the melody line down an octave.

I have transposed the piece into F minor so the clarinets are playing in G minor, as in the original orchestration.
