The arrangement is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and  first time performed by Mozarteum Wind Philharmonic Salzburg conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6  January 2019 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television. This arrangement of it is one of the most hauntingly beautiful. It has an ethereal sound to it that culminates in a glorious conclusion. It was written using a more linear approach, rather than a vertical one. That is, the music is based less on a chord progression and more on separate “melodies” throughout, more like medieval and early Baroque music. For that reason, some of the intervals and staggered entrances may seem a bit peculiar. There are also a number of instances where the lyrics don’t “line up”; this is another reflection of a much older style of writing choral music. Different parts have the melody at times.
