Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818371 By Stephen R Dalrymple. By Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple. Sacred. Octavo. 32 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #6709745. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818371). Hope of the World: 12 Your King Comes Riding original song for SATB choir and piano by Stephen R Dalrymple (with optional parts for Shofar or Trumpet)   sequenced by the composer music © 1999 Stephen R Dalrymple recording ℗ 2022 Stephen R Dalrymple presentation © 2022 Stephen R Dalrymple based on Zechariah 9, Psalm 118, and Matthew 21 ♫ Many of the predictions of Zechariah are futuristic, looking far ahead in history. There was no king of Judah in Zechariah’s day. The former exiles who had returned to Judah were under the authority of the Persians. Any king would have to be authorized by the higher secular authority. But Zechariah foresees a king who will enter Jerusalem, riding on a donkey. ♫ The choice of the animal here is important. The donkey is the beast of burden of the common man. (Analogous to an economic or dilapidated automobile.) Horses were primarily used by soldiers; something like a victor riding into town in a tank. Mules (Jewish law forbade the breeding of hybrid animals) were the choice of the wealthy. In Judea, they were evidently imported. David had Solomon ride into Jerusalem on his mule (something like a sports car.) But Zechariah sees Messiah will presenting Himself as king riding the transportation of the common person. On Psalm Sunday, about a week before Jesus’ death, the crowds quoted Zechariah 9 and Psalm 118 as Jesus offered Himself to the nation as king. ♫ Hope of the World is made of 2 suites of songs that present messianic prophecies from the Old Testament that are referenced in the New Testament. The first 8 songs center on the birth of Christ, the last 9, Christ’s life and passion. ♫ Includes 1) full score 2) SATB choir part on 2 staves 3) optional shofur part 4) optional trumpet part 5)full score for 10 inch tablet ♫ (Tell your computer which pages you want to print. There are programs online that will allow you to split pdf files so that you can choose the correct part of the pdf for your tablet.).

Horn Quintet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1234269 Composed by Helmut Kogler. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical,Praise & Worship,Wedding. 13 pages. Pentharmonics #829810. Published by Pentharmonics (A0.1234269). Fanfare & Theme - Grade 3 - Duration 3:30 min....the fellow. Fate determines all the ways, which humans have to follow. Often routes are crossed by others, at different course and orientation. But there are sections side-by-side. If humans trail one common path, maybe even at same time, then they are fellows. Affiliated with the same intention, unified by higher power, which gives them strength, lends courage, moves on the unity. One result is often friendship, but fellowship in any case. To share the common fate let weld together a strong bond, which may hold a whole life long...The PDF contains the score and all parts. The paper layout is actually designed for European A4 paper, but printing on 8.5 x 11 inches format has no effect on readability.More about the composer: www.helmut-kogler.comMore music by Helmut Kogler: www.pentharmonics.com

Horn,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1122411 Composed by Steven Kudlo. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. 33 pages. Steven Mark Kudlo #723561. Published by Steven Mark Kudlo (A0.1122411). A polystylistic, minimalist composition in six movements, with an overall neoclassical feel. At least one meter change within each movement. Some of the meters are unusual, such as 5/4 or 7/8. The styles within each movement are dissonant/diatonic, expressionistic, and common practice harmony. Each movement ends on a passage of diatonic harmony. Common practice harmony is a feature of each movement. It's almost 15 minutes in length. Fairly easy to play for college horn students; the violin could be played probably by high schoolers. Intermediate to advanced intermediate.

Finger Fun – Practices common fingering problems.Finger Fun can be used any time after Silver. Finger Fun is more of a supplement to the other Finger Olympiad books. Focus is on repetition rather than practice patterns. Students will want to be familiar with all major and minor triads. Despite not requiring note reading, these activities will expand outside of the traditional five finger positions. The Finger Olympiad series is based on solid, modern, scientific learning strategies, avoiding some of the most common frustrations students encounter.  Instead focus is on attitudes, achievements and recognition. Finger Olympiad trains and focuses on specific skills for developing complete musicianship. Because of the focus on musical fundamentals, this workbook can be used for either independent study, or in a teacher-student setting as a supplement to any other method. Digital download includes a warm-up book, and recognition certificate. For more practice tips, follow Finger Olympiad on facebook.

SATB choir unaccompanied - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.5131-E Composed by Gwyneth W. Walker. Instrument part. 23 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #5131-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.5131-E). English.Motherless Child is derived, in part, from the African-American spiritual Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child. The original song dates back to the era of slavery when it was common practice to sell children of slaves away from their parents. In this new adaptation, the theme of separation or alienation (away from home, apart from one's community is viewed as universal and eternal. Everyone at some time feels like a motherless child. But as one expresses these feelings, one realizes a common bond with humanity. And one is no longer alone. Thus a more hopeful refrain is woven into the lyrics of the spiritual:Hold on. Hold on, We are together. And we are one.

Woodwind Ensemble Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1111407 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Chamber,Christian,Classical,Instructional,Religious. 28 pages. Regis Bookshar #713694. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.1111407). Recordare (from Requiem (K. 626) - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart/Franz Xaver Sussmayr - Woodwind Sextet - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. Hauntingly beautiful is how the Recordare from Mozart's Requiem is often described. Originally written for an orchestra and four vocal soloists, it has now been transcribed by Regis Bookshar for a Woodwind Sextet, consisting of 1 Flute, 1 Oboe, 2 Bb Clarinets, 1 French Horn and 1 Bassoon, and would be a wonderful addition to any music library. This arrangement will provide students with the opportunity to practice breath control because of its long, sustained phrases, and also to give them the chance to play this beautiful composition, something which they may not have had the opportunity to do, otherwise. This selection could be performed for concerts, recitals and church services and is suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing this arrangement. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (28 pages). The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble has performed the Trumpet Quintet version of the Recordare for funerals, providing beautiful, introspective music for the occasion. There is some controversy surrounding the circumstances of the Requiem's composition because Mozart died before he could complete it. Count Franz von Walsegg had commissioned a Requiem Mass but Mozart had received only half of the payment in advance. So, upon his death on December 5th, 1791, his widow, Constanze, wished to have the work completed secretly by someone else and submit it to the count as having been completed by Mozart to collect the final payment. Joseph von Eybler was one of the first composers to be asked to complete the score and had worked on a number of movements but felt unable to complete the remainder and gave the manuscript back to Constanze Mozart. The task was then given to another composer, Franz Xaver Sussmayr. Sussmayr borrowed some of Eybler's work in making his completion, added his own orchestration to other movements and added several new movements which a Requiem Mass would normally comprise. He then added a final section by adapting the opening two movements which Mozart had written to the different words which finish the Requiem Mass, which according to both Sussmayr and Mozart's wife, was done according to Mozart's directions. The completed score, initially by Mozart but largely finished by Sussmayr, was then dispatched to Count Walsegg complete with a counterfeited signature of Mozart dated 1792. Despite the controversy over how much of the music is actually Mozart's, the commonly performed Sussmayr version has become widely accepted by the public, and is considered one of Mozart's finest compositions. The Recordare is considered by many people to be one of the most beautiful compositions in Mozart's entire catalogue. Regis Bookshar, a trumpet player, has performed the Requiem in concert with a full orchestra, soloists and a chorus and felt that other musicians should have the opportunity to play the hauntingly beautiful Recordare as well. So, in addition to this arrangement for a Woodwind Sextet, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this beautiful composition. There are Quintets, Sextets, Septets and Octets readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may fine something else which may also suit your needs. I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar as well, as there are numerous arrangements in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. I'm certain that this beautiful arrangement of Mozart's Recordare, will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.

Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Wedding. 9 pages. Catherine Quinlan #996184. Published by Catherine Quinlan (A0.1414409). Written in 1955, Unchained Melody is reputedly the world's most recorded song.  It was originally written for a prison film called Unchained.  The song was sung by a prisoner trying to decide whether to attempt escape and live life on the run or to complete his sentence and return to his wife.  Today it is most commonly associated with the romantic 'pottery' scene in the film Ghost. Here it is arranged for saxophone quartet (3 altos and 1 tenor) in a simple, but effective way.
