Alto Saxophone,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534582 Composed by Pierre Bouillon. Concert,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 20 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #4727429. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534582). Pierre-Claude-François BOUILLON (18??-1883) was the principal conductor of the Cirque Fernando, the famous circus of the Belle Époque who inspired many impressionist artists, such as Renoir, Degas, Toulouse-Latrec and Georges Seurrat, whose masterpiece “Le Cirque” was inspired by this Circus. Bouillon was a very prolific compposer, writing many works for solo instrument and piano, marches, galops, waltzs, polkas and other dances. These works were intended to illustrate the various numbers presented during performances..L'Oiseau Mouche (“the Humming Bird”) is an extended fantasy in the form of a tryptiche. After an initial arioso and cadenza, there is an extended polka in A-B-A form. This is followed by a valse which begins as  a “valse-hĂ©sitation” but finished brilliantly.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1404503 Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Ciro Hernández. 19th Century,20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Opera. 21 pages. Ciro Hernández #987590. Published by Ciro Hernández (A0.1404503). I have added a beginning and an end according to the original work for orchestra but adapted it for string quartet. I have respected structure, tonality and indications of the composer. This adaptation I have added the soloist's part in the instrumentalists' part so that they can follow him without any problem and be able to play without a conductor if necessary. Each part is designed so that the page turning is easy if you use a tablet or iPad. The adaptation is based on the piano part but the piano part has been used to add those musical details that can enrich the musical moment. In audio you can hear a piano accompanying the quartet, simply as a harmonic support to which the singers are more accustomed.

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1371307 Composed by Teresa Carreno. Arranged by John Ivor Holland. 19th Century,Classical,Multicultural,World. 50 pages. John Ivor Holland #955517. Published by John Ivor Holland (A0.1371307). María Teresa Gertrudis de Jesús Carreño García (December 22, 1853 – June 12, 1917) was a Venezuelan pianist, soprano, composer, and conductor. Over the course of her 54-year concert career, she became an internationally renowned virtuoso pianist and was often referred to as the Valkyrie of the Piano. Carreño was an early adopter of the works of one of her students, American composer and pianist Edward MacDowell (1860–1908) and premiered several of his compositions across the globe. She also frequently performed the works of Norwegian composer and pianist Edvard Grieg (1843–1907). Carreño composed approximately 75 works for solo piano, voice and piano, choir and orchestra, and instrumental ensemble. Several composers dedicated their compositions to Carreño, including Amy Beach (Piano Concerto in C-sharp minor) and Edward MacDowell (Piano Concerto No. 2). This lovely lullaby ('The Sleeping Child') dates from 1872 and was originally for solo piano but arranged for concert band as part of an ongoing project to bring more works into the repertoire by women composers. #arrangemegoals2023.

Choral Choir (SSA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.768516 Composed by Camille Saint-Saens. Arranged by Roar Kvam. Christian,Christmas,Romantic Period. Octavo. 144 pages. KVAMusic Edition #6078593. Published by KVAMusic Edition (A0.768516). Charles-Camille Saint-SaĂ«ns (9 October 1835-16 December 1921) was a French composer, organist, conductor and pianist. He was a musical prodigy and made his concert debut at the age of ten. After studying at the Paris Conservatoire he followed a conventional career as a church organist, first at Saint-Merri, Paris and, from 1858, La Madeleine, the official church of the French Empire. After leaving the post twenty years later, he was a successful freelance pianist and composer, in demand in Europe and the Americas. As a young man, Saint-SaĂ«ns was enthusiastic for the most modern music of the day, particularly that of Schumann, Liszt and Wagner, although his own compositions were generally within a conventional classical tradition. He was a scholar of musical history, and remained committed to the structures worked out by earlier French composers. This brought him into conflict in his later years with composers of the impressionist and dodecaphonic schools of music; although there were neoclassical elements in his music, foreshadowing works by Stravinsky and Les Six, he was often regarded as a reactionary in the decades around the time of his death. He wrote the Oratorio de NoĂ«l (Christmas Oratorio) at the end of the 1850s and completed it in 1860. The first performanse was at the church La Madeleine in Paris December 1869. The work is dedicated to A Madame la Vicomtesse de Grandval. The work is originally scored for five soloists, soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor and baritone, mixed choir (except no. 4 which is for SSAA), harp, organ and strings (in this edition the choir has been transcribed for a SSAA choir). Texts in the Oratorio de NoĂ«l is drawn from the Old and New Testaments: (1. Instrumental).    2. Luke 2,8-14.   3. Psalm 39,1.   4. John 11.27.   5. Psalm 117, 26-28.   6. Psalm 2,1 and Gloria Patri.   7. Psalm 109,3 and Graduale.   8. Isaiah 49,13.   9. Lamentations 2,19, Mica 4.13, Zachary 9,9, Isaiah 62,1.   10. Psalm 95,8-9, 11,13.
