Acoustic Guitar,Instrumental Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1152774 Composed by Traditional/Anonymous. Arranged by Socrates Arvanitakis. Classical,Early Music,Folk,Traditional. Individual part. 44 pages. Socrates Arvanitakis #753011. Published by Socrates Arvanitakis (A0.1152774). This is the eighth volume of an extensive collection of folk songs arranged for the classical guitar mostly in two-part counterpoint. The arrangements are of moderate difficulty and the aims of this publication are to familiarise, entertain and educate guitarists (and other musicians) with a melodic repertoire of lasting aesthetic value, under the light of contrapuntal treatment. The thirty five volumes of this collection can certainly be printed on paper if so desired and there are a few pages in each volume, either blank or with photographs of various musicians, which can be inserted at will in any place for the correct ordering of left and right hand pages so that page turns can be avoided. The principle of avoiding page turns has been maintained in all volumes, but this edition is also designed with mobile electronic devices in mind such as tablets etc, using the environment and facilities of a score reading application, towards a paperless world, at least in music. Therefore the size of the staves is bigger than usual for ease of reading on a small screen but not big enough to exceed the limit of a two-page view. Active internal links for navigating from thematic indexes to particular songs and back to indexes have been added, and also external internet links to sites that give further information for the 945 songs of this first collection for classical guitar.Folk Songs For Classical Guitar - Volume 8 (Songs 190-216)Coconut TreeCodfish Shanty (The)Cold Blows the Wind  1 (Shropshire)Cold Blows the Wind 2 (The Unquiet Grave)Cold, Haily, Windy NightCollier’s Rant (The)Come All You Fair and Tender LadiesCome all you True Good ChristiansCome All You Worthy Christian MenCome all you worthy GentlemenCome Away to the SkiesCome buy my fine herringsCome O’er the Stream CharlieCome Write me DownCome, Tune Your Cheerful VoiceConstant Farmer’s Son (The )Constant JohnnyCooper Of Fife (The)Cosher BaileyCottage thatched with straw (The)Coulter’s CandyCoventry Carol 1Coventry Carol 2 (Lulle Lullay)Crocodile (The)Cropper’s Song (The)Cruel Mother (The)Cruel Ship’s Carpenter (The).

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1273503 Composed by Tchaikovsky, Peter. Arranged by Thingvall, Jon. Film/TV,Jazz. Score and Parts. 88 pages. Jon Thingvall #865640. Published by Jon Thingvall (A0.1273503). Briar Rose was the name of an early version of Sleeping Beauty.  Here, Tchaikovsky’s famous Sleeping Beauty Waltz is perked up a little, and re-imagined for a standard junior high/early high school, jazz big band (5,4,4), and played in 4/4 time.Difficulty:  junior high to early high school band.Designed to help students learn jazz.Key:  F (original ballet key is B-flat)Highest lead trumpet note: concert E (last note), in the treble clef. There are no solos.  Exposed parts have at least two players. The rhythms swing, but are kept predictable, without too much variety.Rhythm section play-along here:  https://youtu.be/rhlifLTzHC8Additional Parts Included:                Score, transposed                Score, concert pitch                Piano/Guitar showing Bass in L.H.                Piano/Guitar only, no Bass                Piano with jazz ideas/options written out                Drum set notation                Drum set kicksheetMeasure 71 (at approx. 1:51) could serve as an Optional Ending, and the director will be able to edit the measure as desired—beef up the “& of two” if desired, and/or add horns on beat 4, etc.  If done in class, as my teachers occasionally did, it can show the students the process of arranging, and might encourage some in that direction. As a classical-turned-jazz pianist, my best memories are of those who helped me bridge the gap from verbatim part-playing to the concepts of learning jazz harmonies and its own unique form of counterpoint.  Writers' suggestions--like Sammy Nestico's, who occasionally specified voicings--were invaluable.  So, for classically-trained pianists who are interested in jazz, I’ve included a couple versions of the piano part—a fairly standard “lead sheet”, but also one with ideas for voicings, especially quartal, which the classical artist might not have considered.  Further study on YouTube and other Internet sites will help them hear and visualize the difference between jazz and classical. The Bass part gives the student the option of playing the changes, or the written notes.I’ve also included two kinds of drum parts—one with notation for those just starting out, and another “kick sheet” for those with more experience.Manuscript made with Finale v26Sounds from Finale and Garritan “JABB3” (Jazz And Big Band)MP3 courtesy of OnlineAudioConverter.com.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Bass Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.764702 Composed by Traditional Irish Folk Song. Arranged by James Pybus. Celtic,Folk,Irish,Traditional. 17 pages. James Pybus #4991655. Published by James Pybus (A0.764702). Carrickfergus is an Irish folk song, named after the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Most of the story seems to occur in and around Kilkenny; indeed the Ballygran referred to in the song may be the local Ballingarry coal mines. Marble...black as ink is also mined locally. It was first recorded, under the name The Kerry Boatman, by Dominic Behan on an LP called The Irish Rover, released in 1965. This arrangement of this hauntingly beautiful song for either SSAB or SSSB Clarinet Quartet will give any group a chance to demonstrate its expressive capabilities. It is suitable for many performance situations. The duration is 3:17. Please contact me at james.pybus56@gmail.com.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.723172 Composed by Joel Jacklich. Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 63 pages. Joel Jacklich #6228003. Published by Joel Jacklich (A0.723172). This is the orchestral version of Elegy.  Commissioned by Mitch Sturman in memory of our mutual friend, composer John B. Edmondson (1933-2016).  Mr. Sturman had commissioned new works for the Wilson Jr. H. S. Warrior Band in El Centro, CA for nine years for annual Concerts of Premieres.  John B. Edmondson, one of America's leading composers of educational music, with over 800 compositions and arrangements in his catalog, had been commissioned by Mitch seven times for new works, including his last ever composition, Imperial County Impressions performed in May, 2016, prior to Mr. Sturman's retirement in June, 2016.  The first commission John had made for Mitch was his Serenade for Solo Clarinet and Band.  Mitch felt it would be a fitting tribute for me to compose a work also for solo clarinet and band.  This was composed for a memorial tribute concert for John B. Edmondson at Wilson Junior High School on April 6, 2017, where the seven pieces commissioned for the Wilson Band would be performed.  The solo clarinet, first clarinet, and first trumpet require moderately experienced players to play the parts musically.  All the rest of the parts are easily handled by a typical junior high school band or orchesra.

Small Ensemble Bagpipe,Banjo,Double Bass,Guitar,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.979654 Composed by Roger Aldridge. Celtic,Contemporary. Score and parts. 2 pages. Roger Aldridge #441423. Published by Roger Aldridge (A0.979654). The Green-Roofed Barn draws upon Scottish fiddle music. However, it has a quirky spirit in how there are measures with missing beats. This tune came about when I was hiking in the hills of York County, PA near the Susquehanna River. I saw a barn with a green roof in the valley below. The barn had a sense of joyful grace about it and I began to hear this Strathspey in my mind. The tune was originally written in a traditional style. However, as the music evolved I decided to remove several notes as being too repetitive (notated as measures of 3/4). This gave the tune a quirkiness that appealed to me. As I figured, many hundreds of traditional Strathspeys have already been written. This tune is meant to be something different. Note: the demo recording is a Sibelius midi of only the melody. CONTACT: http://www.rogeraldridge.com/contact.html PRO: BMI WEBSITE: http://www.rogeraldridge.com/ YEAR OF RELEASE: 1991 PERFORMANCE: Ideally, violin is featured with piano and/or guitar and string bass. The tune can also be played on bagpipes or banjo.

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818257 By Stephen R Dalrymple. By Septimus Winter. Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Folk. Score and parts. 54 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #3566019. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818257). Abraham’s Daughter: March from the Civil War ♫ by Septimus Winter (1861) ♫ with When Johnny Comes Marching Home by Patrick Gilmore a.k.a. Louis Lambert (1863). ♫ arranged for concert band by Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ After a family trip to Gettysburg, Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, and Ford Theater, I created a concert band arrangement to solidify the trip in my mind using a popular Civil War song from the North, “Abraham’s Daughter,” and a song used by both North and South, “Johnny Comes Marching Home.” ♫ Music was a means for soldiers to release the tensions of war. By December 1861 the Union army had 28,000 musicians in 618 bands, not counting soldiers who travelled with violins and other musical instruments. Soldiers often sang as they marched by day and at night in camp. Musical duels were not uncommon between Union and Confederate bands. This idea inspired the last section of the arranger where the 2 songs are played against each other. ♫ Septimus Winner wrote “Abraham’s Daughter” in 1861 for the Minstrel stage. “Abraham’s Daughter” pictures a fresh recruit that is on his way to Washington DC to be processed and trained for future battles. ♫ Given the unpublished verses we have, Abraham’s Daughter was undoubtedly sung and embellished by Union soldiers as they travelled from battlefield to battlefield. ♫ Winner is also known for writing “Ten Little Injuns” “Listen to the Mockingbird” and “Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?” ♫ Abraham Lincoln had 4 sons, Robert Todd, Edward Baker, William Wallace, and Thomas (Tad); but no daughters. So, who is Abraham’s daughter? ♫ Oh! Should you ask me who she am, Columbia is her name, sir; She is the child of Abraham, Or Uncle Sam, the same, sir. Now if I fight, why ain't I right? And don't you think I oughter. The volunteers are a-pouring in From every loyal quarter, And I'm goin' down to Washington To fight for Abraham's daughter. ♫ At the beginning of the war, the majority of soldiers, North and South, were fighting to uphold their view of government, each side justifying its position by quoting the Constitution. Southern States saw each State as a sovereign, independent nation. Abraham Lincoln insisted that the United States were one nation. For Abraham Lincoln, the purpose of the war was to preserve the Union. The undivided union was Lincoln’s daughter. ♫ arrangement © 2000, 2013 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ recording ℗ 2021 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ presentation © 2021 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ sequenced by the arranger ♫ Purchase price includes permission to make photocopies of parts and additional scores for a medium size school band. ♫ This .pdf file includes 1) Condensed Conductor’s Score 2) Individual parts for: Instrumentation: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet 1, Clarinet 2, Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Bassoon, Trumpet 1, Trumpet 2, F Horn, Trombone, Treble Clef Baritone, Tuba, Electric Bass, Snare and Bass Drums, Cymbals, and Bells. 3) Condensed Conductor’s Score in a smaller format for use in a 10 inch tablet 4) The same parts formatted for a 10 inch tablet. ♫ The YouTube video contains a full recording.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1421397 By Rammstein. By Christoph Doom Schneider, Doktor Christian Lorenz, Oliver Riedel, Paul Landers, Richard Kruspe, and Till Lindemann. Arranged by Alexander Pochert. Classical,Contemporary,Rock. Score. 6 pages. Alexander Pochert #1002795. Published by Alexander Pochert (A0.1421397). Surprise - here, you actually get 2 arrangements in one: The first is an arrangement from the official song Sonne, and afterwards you'll find an arrangement for the Outro of Sonne that you can hear at the end of the official Deutschland single.Hence, you buy two well-written professional arrangements that are fun to play at an intermediate level. The chorus matches both Till's singing voice as well as the piano melodies in one hand, however, you can find the counting from 1 to 9 (that Till sings in the song) in the left hand. Because you can find these 3 voices where the original singing voice is even split between the left hand and one of the voices in the right hand, the melody in this arrangement is written in a purple color to distinguish Till's singing voice from the rest that is going on here. If you don't like it, simply print the sheet music in black & white.I spend a lot of time and energy for my arrangements, so please consider supporting me by buying them. Thank you for your support!

Woodwind Ensemble Flute - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.747386 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Darrell Goforth. Classical,Instructional. 15 pages. Darrell Harrison Goforth #484313. Published by Darrell Harrison Goforth (A0.747386). This arrangement is part of a series for Flute Choir which will encompass Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro. The series will include the Overture (Sinfonia) and many of the arias, duets and ensembles from the opera. The work can be presented as a complete performance or as standalone pieces. In each of the vocal selections the solo voices will rotate among the entire group, making it ideal for student recitals and to build confidence among the players. In this Cavatina, Figaro is imagining what he will do foil Count Almaviva in his plot to send Figaro on a tour and force himself on the new bride, Susanna.
