This composition was written for one of the parts of the D exam by Frits Renting. The starting point of the composition was: film music. Inspired by well-known works by Hans Zimmer, Brian Tyler, John Williams and works by De Efteling. The composition starts in a fairly small composition in which, with the help of crescendos and several instruments, it works towards a strong, but above all open and cheerful part. This is followed by a short untuned percussion solo. After this, theme A is closed in a calm, non-violent manner. Immediately theme B comes in which is built up through crescendos and multiple instruments over time. Theme B also comes to a quiet end afterwards. After this theme A and B return at the same time, which builds up and closes in a grandiose way.

Deze compositie is geschreven voor één van de onderdelen van het D examen van Frits Renting. Het uitgangsdoel van de compositie was: filmmuziek. Geïnspireerd door bekende werken van Hans Zimmer, Brian Tyler, John Williams en werken van De Efteling. De compositie begint in een vrij kleine samenstelling waarbij, met behulp van crescendo's en meerdere instrumenten, het zich toewerkt naar een sterk, maar vooral open en vrolijk gedeelte. Dit wordt opgevolgd door een korte ongestemde slagwerk solo. Hierna wordt thema A op een rustige, geweldloze manier afgesloten. Direct komt thema B binnenvallen wat word opgebouwd door middel van crescendo's en meerdere instrumenten in loop van de tijd. Ook komt thema B daarna tot rustig einde. Hierna komen thema A en B tegelijkertijd terug wat zich opbouwt en op een grandioze manier, zich afsluit.

The majestic figure of the many layers of mountains shows the heights of art that cannot catch up with humans who are small beings, and we are immediately fascinated by the beautifully drawn ridgeline. 
This composition has been created with the aim of painting expression, that based on the imagination that the mountain itself or something that lives there protects the mountain and its surroundings. 

The theme is the Holy-ghost dancing lightly, the vital energy of the animals and plants that live there, and the majesty of the mountains, and they appear colorfully in various ways, such as the free intertwining of each phrase and powerful grooves that combines a wide variety of rhythms. 
The song shows tranquility and freedom at the beginning. 
In the first half of main part, the light and rhythmic theme and the calm majestic theme depict the contrast of each scene. 
In the second half, the tempo changes intermittently and gradually uplifts, and eventually it makes a climax through the return of the subject. 

It was created as a commissioned work to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Kofu Citizen Concert Band. 
It premiered by the band in March 2018.

Dreaming With Yauco (Soñando Con Yauco) is a single-movement piece for the Youth Orchestra by Composer William Pagán-Pérez. The piece is in the key of D Major. Composer Pagán-Pérez followed some teachings organized in Volume I of the Suzuki Methods to compose the piece for the string sections and a 1 or 2 grade level for the wind and brass instruments (rhythms and melodies). The key of D Major can be a challenge for the winds and brass (especially for clarinets and trumpets in Bb), but music teachers, conductors, and students will manage the challenges by practicing scales and arpeggios. The Offbeat Shuffle: A Drun Beat Disruption
This disrupts the Drun Beat Groove by shifting the emphasis to the off-beats, creating a more playful and unpredictable feel.

Tempo: Maintain the original tempo (around 100-120 BPM) to keep the foundation steady.
Feel: Instead of the classic swing with a focus on the downbeat and upbeat, the Offbeat Shuffle emphasizes the backbeat (snare) and the spaces between. Think of a laid-back, almost nonchalant groove.
Articulation: Keep a clean and tight sound. Ghost notes can be used sparingly for subtle accents.
Groove Breakdown:

Kick Drum: Play a steady pattern on the kick drum, but slightly behind the beat. This creates a sense of pushing the groove forward.
Snare Drum: The snare becomes the main focus, landing primarily on the off-beats (between the kick drum hits). This creates a syncopated feel that disrupts the original swing.
