It was composed from sketches Gordon made while in Farnborough Hospital in 1965. It is scored for S.A.T.B. choir with 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and organ and lasts for about 7.5 minutes. St. Luke's Anthem is well within the scope of most amateur choirs and the instrumental parts are not technically demanding.Choir parts are available separately.
