Instrumental Solo,Pipe Organ - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1251286 By Indrė Gerikaitė. By Juozas Naujalis. Arranged by Balys Vaitkus. Classical,Religious,Romantic Period. Individual part. 2 pages. Nacionaline vargonininku asociacija #845563. Published by Nacionaline vargonininku asociacija (A0.1251286). 12 Organ Trios, Op. 4. Taking into account the date of publication (1897) these seem to be the first printed organ compositions of Naujalis. They were published in Warsaw, in the collection Preludia na organy, part 2, series III. The publication soon received positive comments in the Polish newspaper of the St. Cecilia Society, Musica sacra (1898 No. 5). There are many signs that Naujalis used this edition as his favourite teaching manual since the fingerings and pedaling given are from the author himself.Juozas Naujalis (1869–1934) – Lithuanian composer and organist. In 1892, he was appointed organist and choir leader at the Kaunas Cathedral, a position he held until his death. Naujalis became actively involved in organizing local musical societies and institutions. As an outcome of his groundbreaking work, a number of important private entities, such as the first boys’ choir in Lithuania based at the Archcathedral Basilica in Kaunas, courses and the school for organists (1911), the first legal Lithuanian bookshop and music publishing house in Kaunas (1905–1912), the first music magazine Vargonininkas (The Organist) and calendars for organists published in Lithuanian (1909–1910), and the music school in Kaunas (1919), have been launched. In 1908, he founded the Children Society and St. Gregory Society for Organists, which was later reorganised into St. Cecilia Society for church musicians (1924). Naujalis was also the first Lithuanian composer to achieve recognition abroad. His church music was published in Regensburg, Warsaw, St. Petersburg, Leipzig and Paris. In recognition of his merits in the field of church music he was made Commander of the Order of the Crown of Italy in Rome, in 1929.A total of 29 organ pieces by Naujalis were recorded at the Archcathedral Basilica in Kaunas in 2019.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.862587 Composed by Bach, J. S. Arranged by Michael Bomier. Baroque,Contemporary. Score. 4 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #442687. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862587). 2015 Piano Contest Here is one of Bach's most haunting and yet intellectually rigorous compositions, set up so the intermediate player can see, at a glance, what hand plays what voice, and which accidental is operating when. The early editions, and many others since concentrate SO much on showing the voices and how long each note should LAST, that the important parts, which in our opinion, are when each note STARTS, and which hand plays it, are either left ambiguous or worse. So, here is an edition/arrangement, with 100% original notes, and precise L-R hand assignments. The French device of the laissez vibre or Tie to no where, is used throughout, for visual simplification. Many cautionary accidentals are included, so as to minimize the questioning of pitch that arises from such chromatic writing. Dur. 4:00 MP3 MIDI audio. Pedaling, ala Paul Badura-Skoda, is encouraged. Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.862547 Composed by Michael Bomier. Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 5 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #2034415. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862547). The whole step and the major third are quite euphonious, and even fit into some keys where their usage in a tonal setting facilitates mirror fingerings and symmetry. E major, having four sharps, is just such a key. The scalar passages are strictly mirror-fingered. The octave displacement of the note in between the root and 3rd of the scale is also used throughout, in either hand. Tempo here is only a suggestion, as it may be a bit quick, the 9ths that change direction throughout being the chief technical challenge. The melody is, by default, the top notes of these octave-displaced figures. There are also thirds with broken octaves for accompaniment as well. Running time is approx.3 mins, 30 secs.,longer at a slightly slower pace. Pedaling is not specifically marked, but is given with general instructions rather than with traditional markings. MBB.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1355318 By Jvke. By Jake Lawson and Zachary Lawson. Arranged by Fernando Ramos. 21st Century,Classical,Pop,R & B. Score. 8 pages. Fernando Ramos #940036. Published by Fernando Ramos (A0.1355318). Other Arrangements Available: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/category/arrangeme/426/fernando-ramos/?isPLP=1I make piano solo arrangements for my students of songs that they love! My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes pianistic sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece. This arrangement was made for a late intermediate / early advanced student currently working on Federation class Moderately Difficult 1. It was not easy for him, but he persisted and saw it through, giving an outstanding performance at a recital. I wanted this to be a challenge, but I also wanted to use it as an opportunity for voicing. That is why you will find many notes that are double-stemmed throughout this arrangement. My hope was to give him a little taste of Liszt's Liebestraum No. 3 since I really want him to play that next. But we really enjoyed this arrangement! It's a great piece on its own. I don't give any pedaling suggestions in the score, but these should be chosen carefully so that it doesn't get too muddy.
