From the opera The Ratter. Composed by Wilfried Hiller. This edition: score and part. Clarinet Library. Downloadable, Score and part. Duration 5 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q43621. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q43621).

In 2000, the Expo in Hanover saw the world premiere of this arrangement of two parts from the opera Der Rattenfänger by Wilfried Hiller and Michael Ende. The myth about the Pied Piper is placed in a new contemporary context; the musical language, however, draws on the time of the legend, the early Middle Ages. The two performers of the world premiere of the work for clarinet and percussion were Jörg Widmann and Stefan Blum, with the latter also having arranged the new version.

Violin and piano (with wineglas) - advanced - Digital Download

SKU: S9.Q45182

For violin and piano (with wineglass). Composed by Wilfried Hiller. This edition: Sheet music. Violin Library. Downloadable. Duration 5 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q45182. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q45182).

The short two-part composition refers to two persons by the name of Teresa. One of them was a beautiful Polish actress, the other the favourite model of the painter Balthus. I tried to fuse the characteristics of both female persons with each other in the merging parts. The three-line D produced by rubbing a wine glass sounds like a faraway, almost inaudible planet tone that ends with a brief sigh. Wilfried Hiller.
