Einige meiner Klavierstücke waren erst als Duostücke für Violine und Viola entstanden; hier liegen meine musikalischen Wurzeln. Daher kommt die Melodie erst in der einen Hand, dann in der anderen. Ursprünglich stand diese Musik ganz einfach im 4/4- Takt, aber so, mit den Verschiebungen, finde ich sie viel interessanter. Dieses ungewohnte Zählen erfordert besondere Konzentration und man könnte auch leicht „ausrutschen, daher der Titel. Ein bisschen winterlich klingt die Melodie außerdem. Gerade ist der Winter vorbei, aber der nächste kommt bestimmt! Some of my piano pieces were created as duo pieces for vilin and viola; here are my musical roots. This is the reason why the melody is first played by one hand, than by the other. Originally this music was invented in a simple 4/4-bar, but so, with the shifts, I find it more interesting. This unfamiliar counting needs a special concentration and you can easily slip! Therefore the title! The melody also sounds a bit wintry. Just winter is gone, but the next winter will come certainly!
