Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.997503 Composed by Emmanuel Danielson. Contemporary. Individual part. 9 pages. Emmanuel Danielson #5955691. Published by Emmanuel Danielson (A0.997503). This is a piece composed that was later named by a family neighbor, after his initial hearing of the work performed in front of him. He entitled my composition, The Runaway. This composition may sound like a depiction of a young teen who runs away from their home in melancholy. As the character of the runaway seems to go further away, moments of happiness are found as well as tension from harsh experiences the runaway may have encountered. The tremolos illustrate constant motion of running which finally ends in a final calmed bliss when the running comes to an end.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.553634 Composed by Franz Liszt. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Christian,Christmas,Romantic Period,Sacred. 19 pages. RayThompsonMusic #3371795. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553634). Weihnachtsbaum (English: Christmas Tree; French: Arbre de Noel) is a suite of 12 pieces written by Franz Liszt in 1873–76, with revisions in 1881. The suite exists in versions for solo piano and piano four-hands. Weihnachtsbaum does not demand great virtuosity, and it has been described as a distant relation of Schumann’s Kinderszenen and Debussy’s Children’s Corner. It occupies an unusual place in Liszt’s output, and it may be for these reasons that it has received relatively little attention from performers. Liszt dedicated Weihnachtsbaum to his first grandchild Daniela von Bülow (1860-1940; daughter of Cosima and Hans von Bülow). Daniela had accompanied her grandfather to Rome due to his frail condition. The first performance was on Christmas Day 1881 in Daniela’s Rome hotel room. This was the day on which her mother Cosima always celebrated her birthday, although she was actually born on Christmas Eve.This is No 4. Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1488087 Composed by Franz Xaver Gruber (music) and Joseph Mohr (words). Arranged by John R. Daniels. Christian,Christmas,Contemporary,Holiday,Traditional. 11 pages. John R. Daniels #1064964. Published by John R. Daniels (A0.1488087). Silent Night is a Christmas classic. This arrangement of it is one of the most hauntingly beautiful. It has an ethereal sound to it that culminates in a glorious conclusion. It was written using a more linear approach, rather than a vertical one. That is, the music is based less on a chord progression and more on separate “melodies” throughout, more like medieval and early Baroque music. For that reason, some of the intervals and staggered entrances may seem a bit peculiar. There are also a number of instances where the lyrics don’t “line up”; this is another reflection of a much older style of writing choral music. Different parts have the melody at times.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.492631 Composed by John R. Daniels. Celtic,Folk,Irish,Praise & Worship,Traditional. Octavo. 9 pages. John R. Daniels #107904. Published by John R. Daniels (A0.492631). Psalm 23 – Timeless is a choral setting of the well-known Psalm using the Mixolydian Mode, which gives it the sound of an Irish folk song. Although it is short at one and a half minutes, it uses a number of musical devices to make it seem larger. Besides a piano part, it has chords for a stringed instrument such as guitar or mandolin. If you really want to add some flavor to it, the top line of the piano part could be played by a recorder, penny whistle, etc. whenever there is no one singing. IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ENSEMBLE TO GAIN MORE MEDIA EXPOSURE, please record your performance of this piece and email it to CustomMusic@Salt-Cellar-Creations.com. It will be included in my social media postings and website samples with any contact info you may want to provide. If you need help with recording technique or email transfer, etc. please contact me.
