Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1330331 Composed by Daniel Burwasser. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Head and Stem #918212. Published by Head and Stem (A0.1330331). These four piano pieces were compiled as a set and dedicated to the memory of David Del Tredici. The idea for Four a Mentor was sparked by the recent death of the composer, David Del Tredici with whom Burwasser studied while working toward completing his Ph.D. in composition at the CUNY Graduate School. When hearing of his passing, Burwasser immediately searched for some old pieces he had written under Del Tredici's tutelage during the late 1980s. He unearthed two pieces which were composed with him, “Mini Waltzâ€, when Burwasser was tasked to write a piece in the style of Chopin, and a short, jazzy arrangement of the 19th-century Christian hymn and Christmas carol, “O Come, O Come, Emmanuelâ€. The other two works while not directly associated with Del Tredici, were composed during the same era. “Lullaby†was written in honor of the birth of a friend’s niece. The “Preludeâ€, originally named “Title Sequenceâ€, was based on a film project the composer was working on that never came to fruition (like “Three Shades of Lennyâ€). All four pieces have been minimally revised. .

Published by David William Flippo (A0.995979). Sung by: Christian – A woeful roux of singsong spewed to woo a lady-love. Could have used a thesaurus.  Piano / Vocal Score. From Roxane of Bergerac - A full length musical -  A romantic action-comedy date musical about Roxane's refusal to be merely decorative when it comes to living her life, and this while questing for True Love and her Hero of True Romance.   The musical language is a blend of Jazz and Renaissance musical styles that parallels the mash-up of today’s slang with the preciosity (refined speech) of some 16th century Parisians.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.958470 Composed by Joseph Dillon Ford. 20th Century. 7 pages. David Warin Solomons2 #3691569. Published by David Warin Solomons2 (A0.958470). The Fuga a tre voci was composed on 28 March 1976 not long before I moved from Miami to Cambridge to begin graduate study in music at Harvard. It remained an imperfect sketch in need of extensive revisions, and languished for a quarter-century in a manila file folder until I rediscovered it late in 2001 and was pleased to find that it was worth the trouble of resurrecting. This was no easy task, as it was my original intention to comply closely with eighteenth-century contrapuntal practices. Although I had written numerous polyphonic pieces in a similar style since 1976, none of these was a fugue. There was also the challenge of reconnecting with musical ideas I had originated at the age of twenty-four at a time in my life when I was rapidly approaching the age of fifty. Still, I persevered in my efforts to revive and improve this early polyphonic essay, and hope the performer and listener will be as pleased with the results as I am. This three-voice fugue can be performed by any instrument or combination of instruments, including the harpsichord.
