During a conversation at Breadstix between Kurt, Finn and Rachel discussing their futures after graduation, Rachel sings the song to Finn because he is confused and frustrated about his future. The scene then cuts to the choir room where Rachel sings it in Glee Club, it also cuts to a part when Rachel is singing directly to Finn alone. At the end of the performance, they both share a passionate kiss in front of the Glee Club and some New Directions members give off awkward and disgusted faces.

By Vangelis. By Vangelis. Arranged by Nicholas Hare (Arranger) & Peet du Toit (Orchestrator). Film/TV. 11 pages. Peet du Toit #961705. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.1377086).

Chariots of Fire is a 1981 British historical sports drama film directed by Hugh Hudson, written by Colin Welland and produced by David Puttnam. It is based on the true story of two British athletes in the 1924 Olympics: Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God, and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runs to overcome prejudice. Ben Cross and Ian Charleson star as Abrahams and Liddell, alongside Nigel Havers, Ian Holm, John Gielgud, Lindsay Anderson, Cheryl Campbell, Alice Krige, Brad Davis and Dennis Christopher in supporting roles. Kenneth Branagh makes his debut in a minor role.

Chariots of Fire was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won four, including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score for Vangelis' electronic theme tune. At the 35th British Academy Film Awards, the film was nominated in 11 categories and won in three, including Best Film. It is ranked 19th in the British Film Institute's list of Top 100 British films.

The film's title was inspired by the line Bring me my Chariot of fire! from the William Blake poem adapted into the British hymn and unofficial English anthem Jerusalem; the hymn is heard at the end of the film.[4] The original phrase chariot(s) of fire is from 2 Kings 2:11 and 6:17 in the Bible.

Nicholas Hare's cunning arrangement of the composition inspired me to orchestrate it for a brass quintet, where mostly the tuba plays percussive effects to indicate the tension of the race. Enjoy!

Composed by Alan Buzz Kohan, Harry Simeone, Henry Onorati, Ian Fraser, Katherine K Davis, and Lawrence A Grossman. Arranged by Neil Morgan. 20th Century,Children,Christmas. Score and Parts. 69 pages. Mel Alexander #883250. Published by Mel Alexander (A0.1292688).

Little Drummer Boy - Peace on Earth is a Christmas song originally performed by English singer-songwriter David Bowie and American singer Bing Crosby. Recorded on 11 September 1977 near London for Crosby's television special Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas, the song features Crosby singing 1941 standard The Little Drummer Boy while Bowie sings the counterpoint tune Peace on Earth, written by the special's musical supervisors Ian Fraser and Larry Grossman, and scriptwriter Buz Kohan, specifically for the collaboration. The duet was one of Crosby's final recordings before his death in October 1977 and was one of Bowie’s most successful singles.

This sensitive and colourful orchestration features all sections across the concert band, is a pleasure to perform and will enhance any festive programme.
