Recorder - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.898101 Composed by Mauro GIULIANI (1781-1828). Arranged by Douglas Brooks-Davies. Romantic Period,Standards. Recorder Ensemble. 46 pages. Douglas Brooks-Davies #3436331. Published by Douglas Brooks-Davies (A0.898101).  Among the many compositions for guitar by the celebrated guitarist Mauro Giuliani (1781-1828) is a collection of 16 charmingly tuneful dances, published under the title La Tersicore del Nord (The Northern Tersicore, this being the name of the ancient Greek muse of the dance), thereby suggesting that Giuliani felt the collection to be inspired in some way by what he understood to be a northern European spirit. Here are six of them, nos 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13, arranged for recorder quartet - soprano (descant), alto (treble), tenor and bass. The melodies are Giuliani's, the rest is mine, each part being given some at least of the fun in these engaging pieces. Tempo indications are also editorial. The guitar original - treble line with occasional accompanying notes or chords - can be found at IMSLP.

Acoustic Guitar,Bassoon,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1199388 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by André Nusa. 19th Century,Chamber,Classical,Opera,Romantic Period. 11 pages. Andre_Nusa #798456. Published by Andre_Nusa (A0.1199388). Addio del passato is a touching aria from the opera La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. Though originally composed for soprano voice and orchestra, the piece can be arranged for a variety of instrumental combinations, including a classical guitar and bassoon duo. The bassoon plays the melody and the guitar creates a soft and gentle foundation for the bassoon to soar above.  The interplay between the two instruments creates a nuanced and expressive performance that highlights the beauty of the original piece.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1404707 Composed by José Luis Merlin. Arranged by Thomas Ling of Sibu. 19th Century,Folk,Romantic Period. Score. 2 pages. Thomas Swee Chin #987774. Published by Thomas Swee Chin (A0.1404707). Evocación is the first movement of the Suite del Recuerdo by José Luis Merlin, a contemporary Argentine composer and guitarist. The piece is a beautiful and nostalgic homage to the composer's homeland, drawing on traditional Argentine musical elements such as the milonga and the chacarera. It's characterized by its intricate fingerpicking patterns, rich harmonies, and evocative melodies, which transport the listener to the landscapes and emotions of Argentina. Overall, Evocación captures the essence of Argentine culture and folklore through the language of the guitar. Adapted here for the piano, the piano keys can't do slides like the guitar, but it has the damper pedal.  2 versions: in E minor and F minor.
